Location in party district, friendly and professional staff, great breakfast, clean bathrooms, quite small dorm rooms and noisy doors. But the doors, access to floors and bathrooms are all accessed by swipe cards so it's super secure. The breakfasts are a great way to meet people, as there is cereal, fruit, toast and pastries, tea, coffee and juice available as... More

Not luxurious, but you know what you get for the price. In fact, the double room with ensuite bathroom is pretty decent, towels and all (haven't seen the dorm rooms, so don't know about those). Perhaps a bit noisy, but that's due to the visitors coming up the stairs, not the hostel itself. Free continental breakfast included, but there is... More

I have stayed in hostels for the past 40 years and the one on Granville in Vancouver has the best free breakfast of all. The dining room is tiny but you can take turns and most folks stay in their rooms and shower and only come late. I had so much fun there last summer during my weeks stay at... More

Stayed here for two nights in August in a private room on the first floor with a shared bathroom. The room and the bathrooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. There was free breakfast which we thought was actually quite good however the breakfast room is small and doesn't have enough seating. The person working for the... More

I stayed here last week. It was fine for one night, especially as I was flying out the next day, but I would not want to spend more than a night here. It's central and very convenient for downtown, but not nearly as nice as the Jericho Beach hostel. Having said that, the staff are great and very welcoming.

Our floor had the smell of urine. the kitchen and living areas are small and crowded. great location but Better value at hi Vancouver downtown where we stayed previously. They do a good breakfast and staff at counter were nice.

I booked this hostel for 5 nights and was quoted $160 on hostels.com. When I checked in I was given the price of $206 and told that the quote was 25% less because an HI membership is used for the quote. Annoying. I was then told that there is no parking available, which i could find written no where on... More

Great location for exploring Vancouver and didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel so it was ok. Good free breakfast, an added bonus. Only downside was the people in the hostel weren't particularly outgoing so if in Vancouver alone, might be worth getting on a tour to make friends. Wifi was good, a great location for planning the... More

A very good price for a very good place. Excellent location, close to the greatest area in downtown Vancouver. The breakfast is enough according to the price that is paid. All the staff is very nice and kind, and the place also has a TV room, a living room and computers to the customers.

You pay for what you get. And it is not bad what you get here. Place: The hostel is located in downtown Vancouver, walking distance from the CBD. Major bus lines stopp directly in front of the hostel and get you where you want. I recommend a day ticket for $9,75 - buy st 7Eleven. The bad side of being... More
