The Delta Suite is ideally located (just up the road from the water front area) - the staff are incredibly helpful and the rooms were immaculate. My only regret was only being able to stay 2 nights in this excellent hotel. Its good value and just around the corner from the also excellent Steamworks micro brewery. Well worth a vist. more

Even though we paid a Hotwire price, I still felt that this hotel was too expensive for what we got. I would never pay the regular price (i.e. $300+) to stay here although I do understand that Vancouver hotels are pretty expensive to begin with. Hotel is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. We were certainly made feel special. Some lovely touches e.g. newspaper delivered every morning to our room. pro: bargin, location con: no free internet in room, u get free internet in lobby though. no free breakfast. I stayed 8/2009 for a conference held at waterfront conference center. I got a standard suite room for $100/night through cheaptickets. Other hotels like fairmont and panpacific cost around $250/night. Basically, for $100, it is the best bang for buck hotel.... more
