Very good location for Convention Center access. Rooms were great and staff was friendly. Lobby bar was great. Could use more staff at front desk for busy check in check out, but not too long of a wait.

We stayed here for one night around the holidays. The property was better than expected and our room had a very nice view. If possible, ask for a higher floor with a view of the harbour. The room was quiet and felt like a nice escape from the busy city. The bed was very comfortable. Service was very good, check-in... More

We had a corner room on the 6 floor. The room was a half circle. It was one of the most unique rooms we have stayed in. The windows were full size and also full half circle. The windows also opened. The bed was king size and very comfortable. It has a flat screen TV. My only complaint was the... More

Staff was welcoming and helpful with local directions. Hotel is a block and a half from the convention center--a quick, easy walk. Rooms are up-to-date and just a little nicer than many Marriott properties. Good restaurants and attractions are nearby (try the seaplane flight). Exercise room was fine, but nothing special. I would stay there again.

We spent two nights here. It was our first time staying at this property. Check-in was slow because the concierge was on break. All concierge services were directed to the front desk personnel. The room was clean and quiet. The floor to ceiling windows that wrapped around the curved wall made the room feel even more spacious and bright. Our... More

Hotel great for city dwellers. Located close to cruise ship port which is a short and easy walk if you do not have too much luggage. Helpful staff to point you in the right direction. City is great for young singles, married couples, or seniors.

This hotel is truly in the Centre of Vancouver. Close walking distance to everything. Used Canada Line from the airport and the walked the last 5 minutes to the hotel. Close to Coal Harbour, the sea plane port, hundreds of restaurants and shopping. The rooms are in excellent condition, and very quiet. Great and stunning views from higher floors. Highly... More

I literally spend half of my year at this Property! On the average...12-14 days a month, not counting vacation time. I refer to the Pinnacle as a "property" because it is NOT your typical Hotel. The Staff is outstanding, along with the location, and has one of the best Restaurants in the Coal Harbor area. A five minute walk to... More

The hotel is in a great location, with good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Ask for a room on a high floor that faces the harbor. The staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant reservations. The main turnaround point for the local guide buses (on and off service) is less than a mile away. Stanley Park is nearby.

Had a nice experience at this hotel during a recent trip. The parking/check-in process took longer than usual, but the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The concierge lounge had a great view and the spread was much better than other lounges I've been to. I appreciated the array of options that were protein dense. The view from the rooms... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
