We booked this hotel through Expedia when it was a Marriott so were surprised to find it had changed hands without any notification. Not surprised it is no longer a Marriott! It is a reasonable Hotel, nothing more. The rooms are a adequate, reasonably comfortable, but noisy. The aircon/heating which sound like Concorde taking off! We could not use it... more

I travel to Vancouver frequently, and decided to bring my family along this time. I selected the Cascadia as it includes rooms with in-room kitchen, a pool, etc. I hadn't been able to check it out in advance. PRO: Pool area is nice (some people found it too cold, but my kids loved it); free morning breakfast is a full... more

Staff was very professional, room spotless, the location was perfect, the view spectacular, the breakfast was more that I expected, I was expecting continental breakfast but it wasn't, it was a complete menu. As for the price, it was absolutely affordable. I will go back to that same Hotel on my next trip to Vancouver. more

The room was more like a studio apartment with a full kitchen. Even had a dishwasher and the room service actually ran the dishwasher for you. I saved over 1/2 of the cost by using Priceline. Convenient location. Would come back again but only if I could get the same 1/2 off from Priceline. Larry more

We did like the spaciousness of the room and the comfort of the bed. The location was great: we were able to walk to the Art Museum and Chinatown from the hotel. The service was superb we forgot an umbrella and a camera that were waiting for us at home at our return thank to the nice staff. more

Stayed at this hotel for a few days in mid June. Got this hotel through priceline. For some reason I was a little worried after first getting this hotel through priceline because it was changing from a Marriot Residence Inn to this new ownership group and I thought it may be a bit rundown. But those fears were unfounded and... more

We travelled with our 16 month old daughter and were looking for somewhere safe, that had a kitchenette or at least a fridge/microwave to prep bottles...on a budget. Looking at many places, its hard to decide, but we loved this hotel. We stayed in a superior suite (queen bed, full kitchen) on the 16th floor looking west. Not much of... more

We stayed in Vancouver for 4 nights and found a deal on the tourism Vancouver website. The Cascadia rooms have a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, couch, etc. They are larger than average hotel rooms, but similarly price. They had both wired and wireless internet. The wired internet is about 10X as fast. The beds are soft and comfortable and... more
