I've stayed at this hotel several times and I can never recommend it enough. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff always polite and helpful even when me and friends have came back drunk in the middle of the night. Reserve parking at time of reservation as it is limited but very secure. There is kitchens on... more
After reading many good reviews we were slightly disappointed by our stay. Our double room was not particuarly cheap: 125/night. In addition, the room was quite cramped and the shower was dreadful. On the plus side, the hotel is spotless and our room had a fridge and TV. When we returned to vancouver we stayed at the sandman around the... more
I was a little leery when I booked this since my budget only allowed for a semi private room, however at check in I was upgraded to a private bath so that made it an even better value. The room was adequate size, bed was older not very plush, but everything was clean. The small refrigerator was handy. Location is... more
My husband and I stayed here for a total of five nights and felt the hotel was a very nice value for the price. We had a room with a private bath and it was very clean. The front desk staff was especially nice and made us feel welcome. It was not a luxury hotel, but I would recommend it... more
I stayed in YWCA for a week. It was very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The location is also accessible to many important places like Robson street, China Town and also very near to the Sky train station more
We stayed at the YWCA for three nights and it was perfect. Perfect price and location! Walking distance to everything that you could possibly need or want to see. China town, Robson Street, the Trolly system, Aquabus system, Skytrain system and many fabulous restaurants. Very clean and quiet no complaints! more
I stayed here for 2 nights while I accusomed myself with the city before heading off inland on the greyhound bus. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. Great location, clean, good service and just a general good vibe about the place. If you're looking for somewhere quiet that is close to downtown, YWCA is your... more
This was my second time staying at the YWCA, having previously stayed there in December 2008. They're still as great as ever! We opted to stay here as a group of six women on a bachelorette party. I had actually booked the quint room almost a year in advance, and it was no problem to throw a cot in the... more
We decided to stay just one night before heading off to whistler, and would stay again on our way back through Vancouver if we liked it, but we were so impressed with our 1 night stay that we booked for 2 nights on the way back. We had the 2 double room, so it had plenty of space,we also used the... more
