My family and I enjoyed staying at this place very much. We were able to park our car and take the sky train downtown, which was perfect. The breakfast is a pretty good deal, the rooms are clean, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable compared to other similar hotels in Vancouver. I would... More

Reasonably priced, clean hotel, typical room size with comfortable beds. There were eight adults in our group and two rooms worked out very well. They offer shuttle service to the cruise docks and downtown. Sign up quickly after arriving to ensure to get the times you need the shuttle. Shuttle driver was very nice. Within walking distance to places to... More

While not located downtown, this hotel is a great place to stay when travelling to Vancouver. It is close to the PNE grounds. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast, included in the room rate is better than most breakfasts I've had that are included in the room... More

Contrary to their online posting this hotel is in a very inconvenient location, certainly not within walking distance of any desirable Vancouver tourest destinations. May seem like a cost effective alteernative, but the inconvenient location more than offsets any price considerations.

Stayed at this place for 6 days in the month of August 2014. The entrance to this hotel was a bit odd, in a busy street. Customer service was good from check-in until check out. The rooms were outdated. In need of major renovation. The carpet is not fit properly, stains on the ceiling from water leakage, room door was... More

If you don't have a car then the regular shuttle service is a good way of getting into town. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. Very little to do in the area in the evening as most things happen downtown which is why this hotel tends to be cheaper than those closer in. Breakfasts are adequate but whilst... More

Next to the PNE grounds where we attended the 2nd Annual Vancouver Collector Car Auction and Show, June 20-22. We were happy to get an upgraded room with new bed and amenities, however, it would be nice to have a mini fridge, Very accommodating, free underground parking was included in our rate along with a free breakfast. The Press Box... More

We caught the train (Amtrac...that was great) from Seattle w/ our Japanese exchange student. Hastings Street is within an area designated as some sort of homeless area by the government. Even to get to the bus stop we had to walk a bit, encountering each time active drug use (real junkies with needles, not just weed smokers), loads of beggers.... More

We sincerely apologize for your frightening experience on your journey to the hotel. Thankfully we are well out of the area and away from those types of sights/activities. We generally inform our guests to avoid the area by taking a cab if we know they are going to be travelling through the under-privileged area of Vancouver. Apologies this information was... More
