High End Hotel with excellent service, great food and incredible view of the bay. It is located near the floatplane "airport", which doesn't cause any trouble due noise. The location of the hotel between Stanley Parc and Gastown makes the exploration of Vancouver Downtown easy, by bike or by foot. more

Nice bright rooms. Looks like the bathroom was recently re-done -- very nice. Location is ok -- nice view of the harbour. A bit noisy re: street traffic -- even on the higher floors. Overall good choice. more

The hotel was suggested to me by our Canadian Distributor. Upon check-in I noticed the Maxxim Coors Golf Modeling tryouts. Hundreds of beautiful girls vying for the opportunity to represent Maxxim and Coors were in a part of the lobby. Additionally, the hotel is located walking distance to the water and Stanley Park as well as other nightlife locales. It... more

Stayed using points. Very clean with very nice bedding. Great shower head. Surprising quiet for a hotel of this size. Very friendly/acknowlegeable staff. Free internet (not so typical for high end hotel which usually charges for internet). Only negative is no refrigerator in room. Good location to Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, and other downtown activities. Parking for a fee ($26... more

We spent four nights at the Renaissance on a recent vacation in Vancouver. Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel, but could not quite get past some of the hotel's quirks. We ended up in a harbour view room. This after an intervention by a very helpful bellman, who asked my wife how our stay was shortly after... more

Me and my partner stayed there one night after getting off an Alaska Cruise. It's very close to Canada Place where ships disembark, so we just walked about 5 minutes. The outside of the hotel looks discouraging, but once you go in you see that the hotel is very nice indeed. The rooms were very spacious and had a beautiful... more

Dont' get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with this hotel, just a bit overpriced I guess due to it's location. In March 2009 they were going through some renovations in the lobby area, but the rooms were all done. it was pretty nice and spacious and have a 42" LCD TV in the room. I think this hotel is rated... more

We stayed here three days midweek in mid May. As noted elsewhere the lobby and bar areas were under construction (not that we saw anything being done). The reg. desk was a tight fit for three employees but usually only two were there: long, long lines almost always for service. Given the lobby was large (think high school basketball court... more

This is a beautiful hotel to stay at with wonderful rooms especially facing the harbour. Very nice beds with high quality linens and duvets. The restaurants are not great, but with so many great choics in the area, it doesn't matter. Nice lounge. Great staff. more

Spent a get-away weekend in Vancouver...as usual on weekend trips, we chose our hotel via Priceline, and once again had good luck. 3 1/2* and $65 got us the Renaisance Vancouver Harbourside. The Ren is an absolutely standard downtown business traveler hotel. Room was small but comfortable, very clean, quiet, and acceptible in every way. Not much character, but who... more
