Stayed for one night and had a great experiance. Every staff member I spoke to was extremely helpfully and polite. Although I didn't have a waterfront view, the room was clean, comfortable and up to date. The only negative that I have, is the wireless internet was very slow. Besides that, a nice hotel, for a fair price.

Stayed here from 6-10th April in room 1737, a club level room with an awesome view of coal harbour, Grouse Mountain and Canada Place. I had a balcony and my room was a good size, with plenty of amenities and plenty of channels on the tv, including CNN and BBC world news. Club level rooms include breakfast in the Club... More

Hmmmm...so, the good: Good location. Great View! Updated rooms. VERY nice staff! The downside. Internet wireless is just incredibly SLOW! Several co-workers also said the same. (Wired connection is OK). Also, they only allow 1 device to connect at a time. Coming from out of country, I want my iPhone and my laptop connected. Every other hotel I've been in... More

I stayed at the Renaissance for a conference and overall it was an excellent experience The hotel is a bit older than the competition. However, this doesn't show in the rooms. The beds are particularly comfortable. The location was excellent and the staff gave 150% effort in all interactions. The outstanding staff included front desk, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant waitstaff and... More

My wife and I stayed here last week for two nights on a business trip/mini vacation. The hotel is well located in downtown and only two blocks away from the harbor. We had a room on the 18th floor with beautiful views of the water. The rooms are small but appear to have been recently remodeled, however some of the... More

It's a typical Renaissance. Room is average, clean and comfortable enough for a business stay. Check-in agents are friendly and efficient. I arrived at noon and received my room right away. The location is ok. There is Cactus Club Cafe nearby which is pretty good. As a Marriott Gold member, I got free wifi and voucher for a continental breakfast... More

This Renaissance is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, within walking distance of many restaurants, as well as Vancouver Harbour and Stanley Park. Service and accomodations were impeccable. The sales manager hosted a weeknight meet-and-greet, which was a nice way to learn more about the hotel since this was my first time at this hotel, and to Vancouver in general. Also... More

The Renaissance Harbourside is what I expect of hotels from major chains (Marriott). It was well-kept, the rooms were clean, the staff were all fantastic. I checked in without problem (and even got free internet!). The overall look of the hotel is classy - truly a nice place to stay. The breakfast buffet price is a bit steep, but the... More

This was a nice hotel but was let down by having no free wifi in the rooms. We were on a holiday and having to go up and down to the lobby to get online was a real pain. The location was great and the staff were good. I would stay here again if the wifi issues was sorted out.
