I stayed here at this Hotel a couple of nights. My room has an amazing view of the ocean and Vancouver City. This Hotel is well kept and my room was very clean. It's just a walking distance away to the Sea Bus Terminal and some Restaurants as well. I also had breakfast the restaurant below which was nice.

I stayed at the Pinnacle for two nights. The first night we were put in room 1122, whatever you do, DONT stay in this room. You are literally right behind the elevators which is against the room and you can hear everything. The room is also small and we found it to be very dated and tired. I heard they... More

I read a pile of mixed reviews before booking this hotel and as a result booked a Club Level Room facing the Harbour. The advantage of the Club Level rooms is limited and for Breakfast (assuming you use the Club Lounge) you also get to experience the City View. I didn't experience any issues with the High Speed Internet in... More

The staff here are great very helpful to the guests. The cleanliness of the rooms and the cleaning of the rooms leaves lots to be desired. Counters not washed off, floors not vacuumed, garbages not emptied. The hotel rooms are very outdated. We stayed in a suite that was basically two rooms that they removed the door and the beds... It was an average hotel. Nothing to scare you away, but also nothing that will wow you. I was there for a conference, so I got the group rate, which was good value for being downtown (although right at the edge of downtown). A bit of a hike to get to the skytrain, but if you're renting a car, then... More

Lost my phone and the door man did everything he could to help find it. After a date night out, he sent up wine and strawberries to celebrate our engagement. I plan to stay at this hotel anytime I make my way to Vancouver. Exceeds expectations!!

An all around enjoyable place to stay on business. The service I experienced was very good. I liked the room since it was quiet and dark for sleeping. All aspects of room were clean and functional. Location was good & amenities satisfactory. I liked the quietness best and the stairs in the lobby the least.

the service was nice, there is an umbrella and coffee machine in the room, love them only one problem, the lighting is not enough, there is only one little lamp based the bad, nothing on the ceiling, makes the environment a bit too dark, don't know if it's designed on purpose though......

Our hotel room was just ok - in fact, it needed a bit of love (dinged walls and furniture, inadequate reading light, lack of secured wifi). But from the moment we arrived the staff, beginning with Alex at the desk, were all friendly and helpful. It seems like many of them have worked there for years, which says a lot... More

This hotel was a very clean and exceptional place to stay. We stayed on the harbour front and it was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly, and the price was reasonable. It is located downtown so it is close to lots of places.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
