We booked a non-smoking room only to find cigarette burns in the blankets. Room service took forever as did the elevators. Took the stairs on several occasions...which were filthy/disgusting. I spent 8 nights at the Plaza 500 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. The rooms have lots of windows so there is lots of light and ventilation.
