Excellent hotel. For the price I paid, I couldn't have asked for a better room. I've stayed at quite a few 5-star hotels and the Metropolitan, even though it's ranked as a 4-star, was right up there with the more expensive options. My room was HUGE, extremely clean, and very elegantly updated. All staff members were very kind and attentive... More

Our Deluxe room was smaller than expected, somewhat gloomy and smelling slightly of smoke. Having said that the bed was large and comfy with proper feather pillows and the bathroom spacious with separate shower. Ideally located, easy walking distance to all downtown areas this is a great hotel to explore the area.. There are various options available for breakfast nearby..our... More

The hotel lobby was modern and welcoming, and the receptionist was accommodating and friendly. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated after a 10 hour flight. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The coffee machine was particularly good, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. The location is brilliant, as it is directly opposite... More

This hotel is very well kept, with great service, and it is a short few blocks and an easy walk from Canada Place and the waterfront in downtown Vancouver. Directly across the street is Pacific Centre, a two-level, enclosed regional fashion mall with a wide variety of stores and shops. On the other side of Pacific Centre is the Hudson... More

Centrally located in downtown vancouver, the environment is clean at good reasonable price for the average traveller. The rooms are clean and the service are good. It is near to the bus stops and train stations

Our first stop on our Alaskan cruise tour was The Metropolitan. We really enjoyed this hotel: location is great, concierge suggestions were perfect, reception lovely. Only down side was the water pressure in the shower-- beside that- definitely recommend it.

After being tortured at Harrison Hot Springs, we rolled into the Metropolitan for some much needed pampering. By luck we were upgraded to a full king suite on the 17th floor ($400+ room) for both of our 2 nights. Boy howdy! It's huge, has a full dining room and two bathrooms. We didn't have a view (except of Four Seasons),... More

My daughter and I travelled for 2 weeks visiting Seattle, Vancouver and Whistler. This hotel was by far the best. Great bathrooms with toiletries, helpful staff and fantastic doorman again having read the reviews I think he was Japanese & certainly deserves a mention.

Thanks for your great comments. People do love our spacious marble bathrooms. And having a separate tub and shower is also a nice luxury. We will be sure to let our doorman know that his services were appreciated. See you again soon! More

We had an amazing experience last month at the Metropolitan Hotel. The entire team was incredibly responsive on our questions for things to do in the city and the central location was 2nd to none! Very much enjoyed the fitness center, indoor pool and dining experience as well!

We had recently stayed 2 nights at the Metropolitan Hotel for a family holiday. The location is perfect, close to activities, shopping and dining. The staff are excellent, and I love the soaker tubs in the bathrooms. Bottled water at night for turn down service is very nice too!

Great comments! Thank you! And I agree, our Junior Suites are very nicely appointed, spacious and comfortable... probably my favourite room category in the hotel. More
