The Moda hotel is in a great location and has great decor. The staff are really friendly and were very accommodating to us and our large amounts of luggage (having just finished a ski season). The rooms are clean and tidy and although being located on a busy street we weren't bothered by the noise at night. The only downside... More

The hotel itself is very old which is what makes it unique. The building has character and I enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. The room is quite basic but it met all of my needs. The location is GREAT. I wore earplugs at night as I knew that the noise from the street would be quite loud at night.... More

The Moda surpassed our expectations. We were looking for budget price since we were arriving at midnight. We used hotwire and the Moda came up. Staff were great; all very helpful! No problem with such a late check in, room was small but clean. (fine for a couple) The parking is just across the street and only $14 and it... More

Pretty average city hotel, but it was cheap relative to the others and I guess you get what you pay for. The location is great - very central and walkable to most of Vancouver's attractions. The room was small and really basic with an uncomfortable bed and paintwork peeling off in the bathroom etc etc. Surprisingly the sound proofing was... More

As soon as I entered the lobby I feared I had made a mistake booking this hotel. The staff were pleasant but the place felt dingy and dirty. The elevator was slow so we took the stairs up to our room - the carpeted stairs were filthy. Then the room itself - awful. Rundown and depressing. I'm used to staying... More

When we booked this hotel on another site, we read reviews about how great the place was. Well, we get there and they hand us a key for a shoebox of a room. The shower had mold coming out of the ceiling fixture. Well, they gave us a new room no problem, which wasn't too much better. The parking garage... More

I booked the Moda Hotel based on the excellent price and central location. There are some fabulous looking rooms however, I believe only some of the rooms have been updated whereas the rest are rather dumpy so if this is important to you, check with the hotel! Also, make sure you review the traveler's photos so that you are prepared... More

Stayed at Moda Hotel over (American) Thanks Giving holiday, 2013. This hotel is located in a great area, walking distance to everything(!), even took tram from airport (stop just a couple of blocks away). I felt safe in the hotel area and and walking through out the city. The room was great, modern, clean and more than enough space for... More

We stayed for one night (Sunday night) at the Moda and paid about $65 for the night including parking and tax. For the price it was great! We were in a junior room which is small, but it gets the job done for a quick stay in the city. Great location within walking distance to Robson, Granville, the stadium/casino, etc.... More

I chose Moda because it is across the street from the Orpheum and the price was right. You know when you go somewhere and you get the impression that the employees are not happy? That's Moda. Staff really does not care if you have a good stay or not. Asked one woman how to get to Granville Island and she... More
