Lovely suite, great downtown location, great sports bar, cocktail bar and restaurant on ground floor. Our suite was a very good size, room has safe, iron and good coffee maker. WOULD STAY AGAIN Shame no complementary breakfast though.

Used the travelzoo special so did not know what to expect. We paid for our own parking.not included in offer. The parking was close buy and $15 for 24 hrs, was convenient . The hotel reminded me of the hotels in Europe ,older ,small rooms but very well equipped. Rooms was very clean, good wifi, Kuerig coffee maker, comfortable beds( a little... More

We stayed at the Moda with a Travelzoo deal. We half expected to get a tiny room right beside the elevator, as that is what most hotels do when you have a discounted rate, but we were upgraded to a King room, and given a nice corner room. The hotel is old, but has been totally renovated and upgraded. Yes,... More

We stayed at the Moda for 2 nights in January for a weekend Vancouver trip The Hotel stay was a " social Shopper coupon" which was a good deal. Parking and so called breakfast was included in the stay. The rooms are in need of renos,,,the bed was old and hard as a rock. DO not stay in a corner... More

I just spent 3 nights at this hotel in the Sympony Suites - thinking they were as nice as the rooms I had stayed in years past to find that this hotel is definitely in need of TLC - Don't let the pictures deceive you - The only good thing I can say is my bed was comfortable - carpets... More

Really nice hotel, spacious clean rooms. Perfect location we walked literally every where we wanted it was that close to everything. The breakfast we had one morning here was delicious too, a bit pricey, but worth it. Staff very helpful with taxi booking.

Spent our days off post holidays in downtown and checked in over night near Granville. Moda was surprisingly spacious and the rate per night was $164 excluding tax was decent compared to the sizes of other hotel rooms you will get for that price downtown. I'm still not a fan of hotel room tax here on Canada but what can... More

This hotel is in a brilliantly central location and pretty much handy to everything in Vancouver. Quite inexpensive by Vancouver standards. This is an old building that has been smartly renovated. Very noisy though as there is a collection of bars underneath and the pounding music on the Friday night we were there didn't stop till close to 2 am.... More

Great location, 5 min walk from Vancouver City Centre stop on the train from the airport . The guys at the desk were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are tiny but very clean. Make sure you check out the wine bar downstairs, UVA.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
