we stayed in pennys place for 5 nights... Our opinion was mixed...It was slightly outside the main area of Vancouver (nightlife etc) on Commercial Drive. The skytrain to the city was about a 15minute walk, the bus went just outside (but wasnot the safest at times) and taxis are n't too expensive.
