Hotel OK but annex rooms are dark and dated and accessed by an alley way. Main tower seemed OK and we ate at the restaurant on the second floor. Located on a busy dirty street with vagrants and sex shops, felt very intimidated Not suitable for families more

the rooms were ok but the all night parting down granville street kept us up scince we could hear it in to the wee hours of the night. we used the glasses the first night and I found reminence of my lipgloss from the night before on the "cleaned "glasses with the new paper lids indicating they had been cleaned... more

This was a great, cheap hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. We stayed in one of the Courtyard rooms because they were cheaper ($79 for a double), and like other people have said, you access it from the back alley. But this was perfectly fine and not "dodgy" at all. People have said that... more

I stayed at this hotel in January for a business trip. While I was a little concerned regarding the hotel based on other online reviews, I found that the stay was uneventful. The rooms were clean, the service friendly, and the location great. It is located on popular Granville street, a short walk from Yale Town which worked very well... more

Read the reveiws here and on another travel site. It seemed like the only compaint that permeated the majority of the reviews I read was the location- across from a couple of adult book stores. Well, that's true, but you know that going in. Also- you are staying on Granville Street, lots of bars, clubs, etc, so some "bad elements"... more

Front Desk staff was helpful, the room was clean and a good size. It has a great location, convenient to everywhere! Will definitely recommend this hotel to other people. Judy more

I dont normally feel compelled to write reviews, but felt I needed to warn people about this hotel. 1) incorrect room allocation double instead of twin, which took one hell of a row to change. 2) Very dodgy "courtyard" room accessed through an even more dodgy back alley. 3) 1 of the worst heighbourhoods I have ever passed through. Its... more

Stayed there for work because of free access to fitness world. Hotel was noisy, dingy and in a terrible neighbourhood. Little or no sleep due to street noise. Staff was rude and unhelpful. I travel a lot for work and will not be staying there again. more

Rooms booked through hotels.com had windows painted over. YOU COULD NOT SEE OUT! Staff refused to move us to another room because of booking through hotels.com. Had to carry luggage up stairs after going through a dirty back alley to access room. Rooms extremely small and bed was like sleeping on cardboard. Very basic amenities. Room also had ledge in... more

For our last night in Vancouver we booked this one by phoning from the tourist information office in Mission. Some other hotels I still remembered from TA were already booked, so I went for this one without knowing too much about it. English is not my first language, but it definitely was the same for the lady I spoke with... more
