We booked several rooms for our group that attended a sports tournament in North Vancouver. The rates were reasonable and the service was excellent. The hotel management and staff attended to our needs and were very helpful in recommending places to visit, dinner locations and directions. The hotel has easy access to downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver. When you stay... more

Some of the other reviewers must have much lower standards than I do, because this place was awful. Starting with a small parking lot littered with garbage, rolls of carpet blocking the entrance (they appear to be renovating), a TINY lobby and worn out hall carpeting all inches from a busy street. The room was an average hotel room in... more

We ended our rocky mountain drive by staying in Vancouver for the last few days of our holiday. The hotel was easy to find by car and there were plenty of parking spaces available. The hotel itself is run by very friendly staff that are keen to help if you have any questions. The breakfast room is a little small,... more

I just wanted to make one thing clear regarding previous reviews: there is nothing wrong with the neighborhood of the hotel itself. It is true that between downtown and the hotel there are these several nasty blocks of Hastings Street with all the bums and stuff. But it should also be understood that these nasty blocks are right alongside downtown.... more

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn when attending events at the Coliseum but decided to take advantage of the lower rate at the Best Western. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and lack of a secure place to store our laptop when out of the motel was disappointing. I understood that the rooms had been recently renovated, not. They... more

We were going to Vancouver for the Memorial Cup, which was held at the Pacific Coliseum. This hotel was a 15 minute walk from the rink, which was perfect because parking was $10. We stayed here from May18-27. The rooms had been newly renovated and were cleaned daily. The front desk staff were very friendly, giving us tips on where... more

We'd never been to Vancouver before, and therefore had no idea that this hotel was so close to the worst parts of town. Me and my husband didn't feel safe walking down the street at night, by any means. And about 10 blocks down the street, towards downtown, is the absolute worst part of Vancouver. Actually, when we were in... more

We stayed here from a Wednesday to a Sunday to do the tourist thing in Vancouver and Victoria. The hotel is easy to get to, right off a major highway. We apppreciated the free parking, the large basic room where everything worked, the adequate expanded continental breakfast, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The hotel is located on... more

We paid an average of CAD$103/night, which was very reasonable for the Vancouver area. Based on the price, we weren't expecting a lot but were very pleasantly surprised. We had a room with a king size bed and the room was huge. It was in excellent condition with a nice big bathroom, which was very clean and modern. We had... more

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends for a "girl's weekend away" and really enjoyed my time. The room's were spacious with two bed's seperated by a wall, with their own dressers and televisions. It was almost like having two rooms. There was a small fridge and continental breakfast. The service of the front desk was wonderful!!! Every time we had... more
