I stayed at this Best Western twice while visiting my daughter in Vancouver. It was perfect for me because I just needed a good place to sleep. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. It is located in a safe area, and I walked to my... more

Four of us stayed here the other night (in 3 different rooms). When we got there, it had a small lobby and didn’t look like much. The parking lot was small, but free. So that was a good deal. When we got to the counter (11:00 at night), things changed. We were greeted by Sunny who was the most delightful... more

I booked a number of rooms for a large group of us to stay the night for a party we were all attending at the Baci Restaurant, just so we would not have to brave the snow after a night of having fun. The rooms were your standard basic hotel, but the furniture and carpets were pretty new. The rooms... more

Stayed here for four nights while atttending the Four Continents figure skating competition at the Pacific Coliseum. Location was great and only a ten minute walk to the PC. As an alternative, a bus stops right in front of the hotel on Hastings St. and the ride to PC literally takes a couple of minutes. While the hotel is far... more

This hotel is situated a short distance from the Trans Canada Highway which takes you either to North and West Vancouver and the ferry terminal at Horseshoe Bay to Vancouver Island or east to the Fraser Valley. It is also walking distance from the Pacific National Exhibition grounds as well as the Hastings Park Racetrack. The newly carpeted standard room... more

We booked several rooms for our group that attended a sports tournament in North Vancouver. The rates were reasonable and the service was excellent. The hotel management and staff attended to our needs and were very helpful in recommending places to visit, dinner locations and directions. The hotel has easy access to downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver. When you stay... more

Some of the other reviewers must have much lower standards than I do, because this place was awful. Starting with a small parking lot littered with garbage, rolls of carpet blocking the entrance (they appear to be renovating), a TINY lobby and worn out hall carpeting all inches from a busy street. The room was an average hotel room in... more

We ended our rocky mountain drive by staying in Vancouver for the last few days of our holiday. The hotel was easy to find by car and there were plenty of parking spaces available. The hotel itself is run by very friendly staff that are keen to help if you have any questions. The breakfast room is a little small,... more

I just wanted to make one thing clear regarding previous reviews: there is nothing wrong with the neighborhood of the hotel itself. It is true that between downtown and the hotel there are these several nasty blocks of Hastings Street with all the bums and stuff. But it should also be understood that these nasty blocks are right alongside downtown.... more

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn when attending events at the Coliseum but decided to take advantage of the lower rate at the Best Western. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and lack of a secure place to store our laptop when out of the motel was disappointing. I understood that the rooms had been recently renovated, not. They... more
