Apparently Vancouver has different standards than the rest of the world. The Cassandra Hotel reeked of smoke the moment I walked in and the rooms were no different. They hotel lobby didn't smell all that good. I thought people were smoking in there. The room wasn't too bad but the carpet was filthy and the halls smelled of smokers too. They had a laundry facility that worked well but the trash was overflowing and all over the floor and the price for washing and drying was $2.50 each.... more
