Fine hotel, large room, en-suite bathroom. Flat screen TV and DVD player. Iron and board in room. A little bit out of town, but a couple of blocks from the Skytrain and good bus links close by to Downtown. Main criticism was lack of knowledge from the receptionist. But nothing that serious and wouldn't stop me staying again.

Strong mildew smell as soon as we walked into the lobby. Restaurant has been closed for a while with no notice, explanation or apology. Drywall missing or patched and unfinished in the hallways. Dirty carpets. Stained bed linens. Could hear the people walking loudly in the room overhead. This was a dive with pretentions of being something better.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel, close to train to DT area as well as the metrotown shopping center to spend time with my bf. I say its a great and cheap place for young travellers. The breakfast was so-so, but we explore the neighbourhood and there were restaurants everywhere! Very nice staff during our stay.

Dirty carpet everywhere, room, halls. Mold in shower stall & curtain. Had the old bldg. smell goin' on. Don't waste your money here.
