As part of our tour of the Pacific Northwest, we stayed for five nights in Vancouver at the Westin Grand. We missed the entrance to the hotel to park our car and had to drive around for quite some time to get back. Many one-way streets, plus no left or right-hand turns during specific times of the day, coupled with... more

The downtown location is fantastic. Right next to the gorgeous public library a bonus on rainy days. Lots of small restaurants nearby. The suites work well when travelling with kids. The outdoor pool is lovely, and the housekeeper was very helpful. The front desk staff is VERY pleasant although a little slow. The overpowering fragrance of the soap and bath... more

We worked with Lisa in advance of our trip and again when we got there! It was raining and we rearranged some of the activities. She was spot on with her recommendations, suggestions and ideas. She was great and really helped to make our trip. The hotel was perfect. The location could not be better and we were quite happy... more

Trouble free visit. Got a suite among the top floors, awesome view. Service was incredible. However, like all big city hotels, they DING you with all the extra fees... internet access in room was $14 for 24 hours. And the parking fees... yikes. Vancouver is a wonderful city, make sure you visit the Capilano suspension bridge. Take a walk around... more

After taking a short dip in the Westin Grand's tiny swimming pool, my husband came down with a severe ear infection, which has still not cleared up after two weeks and two different antibiotics. The doctor asked him if he had gone swimming in a swimming pool. I phoned the Westin Grand to warn them that their pool was most... more

I can't say enough about the great service we experienced at check in, from the bellman and the front desk. My bags arrived at my room before I did and the bellman made sure I was familiar with and comfortable with the room. The front desk gave us a great booklet with discounts to many sightseeing destinations. From the all... more

The name westin grand is true to its construction style, the entire hotel looks like a grand piano. located on robson street abt 30 mins from the airport and roughly the same from the pier (for those taking a cruise). one cant find a more central location than this. to the left of the hotel is all the eating, drinking, coffee places... more

The staff here is absolutely excellent and one feels more than welcome. The location is fantastic. In the heart of the city with a super market adjacent to the hotel and lots of restaurants and take away places nearby. The one bedroom suites are great for families of 4 with a mini kitchen in the room and not overpriced. Vallet... more

Check in time is at 3pm and when we arrived at 4:30pm, we had to wait a good 20 minutes before our room was ready. Actually, after 20 mins our room on the 26th floor was still not ready but the room on the 20th floor was. We down-graded 6 floors while still paying the same room rate because we... more
