My stay at the Coast Plaza Suites and Hotel was a great experience. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by many great service workers and had no trouble checking in and out of my room. When I was leaving i had no delays what so ever because everything was ready for me at the front desk.

The Hotel is in a very good location and has great views over the bay. some frient desk staff are very friendly, Nicky, Serena and Chris are great. The only drawback is the Carpet has some smell , if you do not mind ,the hotel is great to you.

Room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. I was attending a 2 day conference, which served breakfast, lunch and snacks. The food was great, they offered a variety of dishes.

I stay here quite often. This hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, and shopping areas. Also, it is close to English Bay. This is a beautiful area for the beach, walking, and bike riding.

We had a short stay, just one night. Everything was darn near perfect. My wife and I had a spur of the moment idea to spend the night out and relax and reconnect and the cedar suite was exactly what we needed. With the jacuzzi tub and the view and the great bed, maximum relaxation achieved!! Thank you.

We always stay here the night before our big drive to Whistler, which has been at least four times since 2008. Always great rooms, amazing views and lovely staff at the front desk. Also in walking distance to some really great dining options - our tradition is to eat at Joe's Bar and Grill the morning of the drive. I... More

When making a reservation at this hotel, be very specific about room preferences (ie. not next to an elevator) and make plans to eat elsewhere, as the food selection is poor and the restaurant has no ambience. The staff are warm and welcoming and the views - if you are lucky enough to get one - are to die for!

Best Location in Vancouver, walking distance from Stanley Park and ferries to travel throughout the city. Our room had a magnificent view and a balcony. Plenty of restaurants nearby, easy to find a cab as well.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
