My wife and I checked in at the Riviera on Thursday, October 20 and had planed to stay for two nights. After we saw the awful state of the suite, we asked for a refund, but were denied. I went to the front desk, armed with my camera, and explained that I would put photos of the suite on the...

We stayed at this apartment in September for a total duration of three nights. In general we liked the place, but it had a few downsides as well.
Pros:
- Location: only 6 blocks from the train that takes you to YVR airport. It is centrally located, with downtown Vancouver, grocery stores (Safeway and Whole Foods), restaurants, internet cafés, Stanley...

We stayed at riviera for two nights after flying in from southeast Asia. The price is great and the location is ideal. We were given a room on 9th floor (2nd from top) and you could hear everything going on on street level down below. We were too tired to care and slept right thru but if we hadn't been...

I stayed here for two nights in mid-August. 2011. I wish I had paid more attention to the “Poor” and “Terrible” reviews listed here as they were spot on. I paid 123 CAD (with taxes) per night, which is a deal for the Robson Street area, but believe me, it is NOT worth it. Don’t let the price, room/suite size...

When ever we visit Vancouver we always stay at the Riviera, which is a relaxed small suite hotel on Robson Street, down town.
The location is great, one can walk almost everywhere a visitor to Vancouver would be interested in visiting, including Stanley Park.
The rooms are spacious and clean, the furnishing might seem a little tired to some.

When my boyfriend and I stayed here after a wedding, I accidentally left my bridesmaid dress in the bathroom. I finally realized the next day and was suprised they never called to tell me. When I called, I was told it was thrown out! They said to call back the next day and when I did they said I was...

We had a great time in this hotel. I took my chances inspite of the lower rating because I've stayed in this area before and I was extremely happy with my decision. First of all the reception staff were all fantastic and friendy. They really get out of your way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were always cleaned....

In Vancouver for a wedding that was in the downtown area & needed a place to stay for a decent price. After posting on a local forum in Vancouver, I was told to try out the Riviera.
The hotel is on Robson Street, close to Denham in Vancouver. It goes without saying this is one of the finest urban areas...
