From the reservation booking agent, to the front desk staff, to our room, it was beyond our expectations. Our room had a huge balcony with a view of the harbour and mountains. Well after reading the petty reviews on here I have decided to write review as I am laying in bed right now at The Listel. They have a great early check in I didn't have to wait until 3pm like some hotels. It's everything even a Bon Crepe (japanese crepe stand it's closed until the 17th) a great parfait place... more

The cleanliness of my room on arrival was such that I had to be moved to another room. Beware the breakfast vouchers in the restaurant. You get an inferior menu with no flexibility whatsoever as to what you can choose to eat. Altogether very disappointing ... and the hotel foyer is freezing as the doors are left wide open. more

We stayed here for one night enroute to interior BC, aka Okanagan Valley. Arrived around noon, took lunch recommendation from reception, Miko Sushi, just across the street...fresh, good value sushi! This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only was it a great value, it was located right in the heart of the Robson Street shopping district, it was close to the waterfront, and everything we wanted to see in Vancouver was just a quick walk or a short bus ride away. located in vancouver in an area alive with restaurants and shops.beautifully appointed rooms. wonderful staff. gallery art decorating the rooms and hallways. walking distance from the waterfront. and best of all a pot of french pressed coffee delivered each morning! more

Booked at the Listel for a stay after a cruise on NCL Pearl. Took a short cab ride from farthest cruise ship terminal for $12. Arrived at 10am, checked in and left bags for later room assignment. We were totally satisfied with the Hotel Listel. Location is the best-close enough to downtown yet vibrant with cafes and shops for the evening. Hotel is very clean, tastefully decorated and service oriented. Our room (5th floor facing Robson) had a pleasant window seat, a new flat screen and large windows which opened. There was NO street noise at all.... more
