We were looking for a conveniently located hotel before our cruise. It is a 10 minute cab ride to Balantine Pier and about 30 minutes from the airport. If you are looking for a hotel close to Balantine, the Westin Grand is closer. We were walking distance to the park, however, where they have an aquarium, extensive walking/biking/jogging trails, a... more

Just spent a few days at the Westin, in a king sized room. As Starwood Preferred Member, was surprised by lack of accomodation of staff. Checked in early, room not ready. Came back at 3.15, had to stand in same line with one person working behind desk, incompetently. Another 30 minutes later. Annoying and unprofessional to have 1 person staffed... more

Hard to find fault with this hotel. Upgraded on arrival which always helps! Beautiful views and such friendly and helpful staff. It's not cheap, but then you pay for what you get. The views from the hotel are stunning if you have one of the sea facing rooms. more

This hotel is way overpriced for what you get. The room was small and poorly laid out. The closet was in the bathroom. You couldn't stand in front of the sink because the toilet was in the way. There was no place to put our suitcases without rearranging the furniture. Internet was $15 per day. Checkin was terrible - I... more

I love the Westin chain, and this location is no exception. In Coal Harbor, close to Robson and Stanley Park, the location is ideal. I've been here numerous times for conferences, meetings, and leisure. Service is always fantastic, and the starwood preferred floor is well appointed with comfortable beds, great linen, and modern appointments. My favorite part, was finding out... more

My husband and I recently had an overnight stay in Vancouver. We had a harbor view room and it was wonderful. We were able to see the ships coming in and out and also see the park next to the hotel. The room was very well equiped and the bedding was so fresh and comfortable. We had all we needed... more

The rooms are large with a great view for the most part, the lobby is HUGE with a starbucks and a gift shop. I was in the tower with a decent view, but ye be warned, they have some rooms with horrid views of the ceiling of the lobby. The hotel should not have rooms like these. Otherwise, this hotel... more

Just completed a stay at Westin Bayshore this past weekend after an Alaska cruise. It is very close to Canada Place (1o minute Taxi ride) which opened up the day for us. Early check in to our web special priced room was ready for us at 9:30 in the morning. We stayed in older section in a room w/o a... more

We arrived mid-morning after a cruise, and were invited to check in right away. Our room was bright, airy, and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location of this hotel is magnificent, and the spacious, open design of the lobby gives it a resort feel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. more

The Westin Bayshore Vancouver is within a stone's throw from the province's most beautiful urban park (Stanley Park) and a spectacular waterfront area, with marina. If one is looking for photographic panoramas that represent Vancouver, this hotel is pretty much in a prime location. This view is evident if you manage to get a room that faces the park or... more
