This is hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I would recommend it to any traveller of any type -vacationer, family, newly weds, business, olympic visitor. There is nothing this hotel could do better. Amazing. more

Nice small hotel, off Robson Street, walking distance from the city centre and downtown. Overall nice experience, clean and efficient. The breakfast spread is great, but the place is gloomy, for breakfast. Better hotels available in the vicinity. more

Spent 4 nights at hotel. Rooms are fairly quiet--but Burrard St. noise can be a factor--especially with emergency equipment driving by. The rooms are decorated with traditional finishes, moderate in size and you cannot hear others guests from your room. Large flat screen TV and speakers in room for iPod. This is a good standard hotel, where we benefited from an upgrade to a large flat like suite which had 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette and living room + 2 bathrooms, with small balcony to sit on. I had occasion to stay recently and was disappointed for three reasons. The room we were initially given was noisy because of its proximity to the elevator. This is one of the best appointed and well located hotels in the city. It also has exceptionally good service. My only gripe was that the heat was turned on yet in the hotel even though the outdoor temperatures were no higher than 65 F. more
