We are very happy to have prebooked 3 nights at Cambie lodge. The bed is comfortable, room is clean as is the bathroom. We have a shared bathroom which is just fine. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining room and a choice of outdoor sitting areas. We have a good choice of eating places nearby, an organic supermarket... More

The property is showing its age--particularly on the outside. The sitting area had a few wispy cobwebs, but the bedrooms were fine. Our travelers had 2 rooms on the first floor because we didn't want to haul luggage up the stairs, only a slight bit of noise from the occupants above us.The breakfast was nice, with eggs cooked to order,... We had our first 4 nights here on arrival into Canada via cruise ship from Japan, so being use to comfort after the cruise there was hardly a need for a comfort adjustment! At the Cambie Lodge we had a very comfortable and spacious room, modern and clean with a nice ensuite. Best of all there is a seperate lounge... More

The outside is cute, rooms are renovated and ok. Bed was SO hard, it would have been more comfortable on the floor. Very cold- no heat in the room. Breakfast was nice. I think they are really understaffed. Never said hello or goodbye. I GROSSLY overpaid for this on priceline. It would have been much cheaper to just go on... More

Stayed one night as a convenient stopover. Reasonable rate, room recently renovated, clean, same in-room amenities as a small hotel room. Bed was too soft for me to sleep comfortably, heat was either too hot or completely off (place is an old house, so that's not surprising), no sound insulation so people talking quietly in corridor were very noticeable. No... More

Comfortable rooms, quiet neighborhood, good & hot made-to-order breakfasts, close to City Hall and Canada Rail (subway) station. Hosts were very accommodating of our needs. Would definitely stay here again. Good value (even with the private bath!).

My two friends and I recently travelled to Canada from the UK and, as part of our visit we stayed at Cambie lodge for three nights whilst we explored Vancouver. It is in a really convenient and easy to find spot right on the bus route and very close to the Sky Train station. It seems that the owners have... More

What a quiet and convenient place to stay for two nights! My room with a shared bath was inexpensive and as far as I could tell, I had the bathroom to myself. Unfortunately, I only got to enjoy one of Hardeep's delicious breakfasts because I had to leave early the second morning. The house really has the feel of a... More

I've stayed at both these B&Bs several times a year for the past 3 years. It has always been a very positive experience. The rates are very competitive, the rooms are clean and quiet, Hardeep's breakfasts are awesome and she is very helpful with information on things going on in Vancouver. I have recommended it to several friends who stay... More

We booked a weekend stay and had a lovely time. The rooms were clean and airy with old world charm in a lovely Vancouver heritage home. The hostess greeted us in the morning with a lovely breakfast and some ideas on what to see and do in Vancouver during our "free time" from the conference we were attending. We found... More
