Unfortunately we required accommodation close to Vancouver General Hospital. Although not right next door, this B and B had a great location. Close to a variety of restaurants and walking distance to public transport and the hospital. It was a cool night so I put the extra blanket on....it was full of sand. Other than that, I was happy with... More

Well worn multibedroom house, good location, although a drive from Vancouver proper. Parking limited. No personal touch...no owner/proprieter to meet and greet. Breakfast was good, prepared by hired workers, not the owner. Considering the price, not a bargain. We wouldn't stay there again.

This is a great little B & B. We stayed for an entire week. It's close to the Canada Line Railway that gets you to most places around town and there are several great eateries within walking distance. Two of mention are BierCraft for fresh mussles, charcuterie and craft beers and Kirin for Dim Sum. Our room was nicely done... More

This was a last minute booking and I took a chance on a B & B. I was pleasantly surprised. The lady in charge was very friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. The Cambie Lodge is on a quiet street off the very busy Cambie Rd. The suite is very comfortable and it's great to have... More

We are very happy to have prebooked 3 nights at Cambie lodge. The bed is comfortable, room is clean as is the bathroom. We have a shared bathroom which is just fine. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining room and a choice of outdoor sitting areas. We have a good choice of eating places nearby, an organic supermarket... More

The property is showing its age--particularly on the outside. The sitting area had a few wispy cobwebs, but the bedrooms were fine. Our travelers had 2 rooms on the first floor because we didn't want to haul luggage up the stairs, only a slight bit of noise from the occupants above us.The breakfast was nice, with eggs cooked to order,... We had our first 4 nights here on arrival into Canada via cruise ship from Japan, so being use to comfort after the cruise there was hardly a need for a comfort adjustment! At the Cambie Lodge we had a very comfortable and spacious room, modern and clean with a nice ensuite. Best of all there is a seperate lounge... More

The outside is cute, rooms are renovated and ok. Bed was SO hard, it would have been more comfortable on the floor. Very cold- no heat in the room. Breakfast was nice. I think they are really understaffed. Never said hello or goodbye. I GROSSLY overpaid for this on priceline. It would have been much cheaper to just go on... More

Stayed one night as a convenient stopover. Reasonable rate, room recently renovated, clean, same in-room amenities as a small hotel room. Bed was too soft for me to sleep comfortably, heat was either too hot or completely off (place is an old house, so that's not surprising), no sound insulation so people talking quietly in corridor were very noticeable. No... More

Comfortable rooms, quiet neighborhood, good & hot made-to-order breakfasts, close to City Hall and Canada Rail (subway) station. Hosts were very accommodating of our needs. Would definitely stay here again. Good value (even with the private bath!).
