From what I have been told by locals the Rosedale on Robson has been here many years. The suites of which I rented for the week was spacious well decorated and comfortable. The bedroom was nicely equipped with a king size bed that was more than comfortable. The pool area was clean and hot tub was nice and hot. The... More

OK lets just be honest here. You get what you pay for in life and at Rosedale on Robson its never been truer. A mid-range price delivering a mid-range customer experience. Staff are helpful and friendly which is some compensation for the fact the all-suite hotel itself is tired and weary. Rooms are lack lustre, and in my case dark... More

I booked this a one bedroom in this hotel through Vacation Internationale. It is in an excellent location for shopping and restaurants. The hotel is actually on Hamilton, half a block away from Robson (great shopping street). It's in Yaletown and close to many very good restaurants of all price ranges. The bedroom was large and bright, but the living... More

This hotel offers a small fitness area (will not be appreciated by avid exerciser's). The swimming pool and hot-tub area was bright and clean (good for kids). The rooms have a small kitchen, good sized bathroom and separate bedrooms (great for families). You are in downtown Vancouver, so pretty much everything is within walking distance (food, coffee, entertainment). Down side... More

This location was great. We were able to walk to many of the attractions and the hop on-off bus stop was only two blocks away so we were able to use that to visit many other attractions. We can truly recommend this location for your stay.

We found this a convenient location in the heart of downtown. We stayed in a 2 BR, one with a king and one with a queen, on the 5th floor overlooking a garden, peaceful and quiet even though it was near the elevator. We walked to a bike shop to rent bikes and ride all the way around Stanley Park,... More

Stayed here to visit friends who were also staying close by. Great location close to some insane food choices (Cafe Medina for breakfast, Shuraku for dinner), and generally a quiet street (there is a fire station at the end of the block which woke us once, but beat the continuous traffic). Only hiccup we had was our room key not... More

We stayed here while attending the women's world cup. All the hotels in the area had increased their prices and we found this one for quite a bit less. Initially when we saw our room was across the elevator we were a little concerned about noise but the layout of the room was such that the bedroom was set very... More

For all of you VI owners my wife and I recommend the VI at Rosedale on Robson. We enjoyed a room on the 19th floor with a good view and the accommodations were very comfortable. It's not large but certainly adequate for 2 people for a couple of days. Located near Yaletown with a variety of restaurants and Sports Bars... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
