“There, all is order and beauty, luxury, calm and voluptuousness”, (Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté.). We can't find better words than this verse of Charles Baudelaire to describe the Wickaninnish. We spent five heavenly days there in mid-March. We travel a lot and are regulars of the Relais & Chateaux. Our stay at the Wickaninnish... More

Stayed here for the recent long weekend and I'm glad I did. It was quite a long drive to Tofino from where I was but it's definitely worth it, made more so by my stay here. Staff were all warm and nice, from the vallet parking attendant to reception and the Pointe restaurant crew. The view from the room's balcony... More

It is with some regret that I must give the Wickaninnish Inn a scathing review. Until things change, this hotel falls under my "never again" and "do not book under any circumstances" category. And here is the paradox: it is a lovely property, in a beautiful setting and the food at The Point restaurant is spectacular. The rooms are well... More

Spent three nights in room #47 in the Beach Building with my wife over the (U.S.) Memorial Day weekend. Simply excellent in every way. Large room, with perhaps the best hotel room view we have ever had -- straight down Chesterman Beach. Every conceivable amenity is available (other than underwater disco) and the service was superb. On our second night,... More

We had a spectacular view with very nicely decorated room, lovely wooden furniture, fixtures & trim w/ a GROOVY TV that rises from the cabinet top! Total James Bond! GR8 fireplace an AWESOME (potentially) location, a lovely beach, view of the open Pacific w/ fantastic architecture & better landscaping ...but we also suffered a truly, profoundly & creepily obsequious staff... Understated design elegance. Great location. Good service. A lot of nice extras, such as free use of bicycles, binoculars and storm jackets for the beach, valet parking. Really enjoyed the hotel, and enjoyed returning to the long beach area after close to 50 years.

This stunningly beautifully located hotel is a remote paradise set on the rugged coast of British Columbia. A unique combination of cold water surfing, giant pines and majestic coastline, the location is the attraction in itself. The Wikaninnish is the most plush place to stay and would please most every guest in so many ways, despite a few short comings.... More

My wife and I first learned about the Wickaninnish Inn on a segment of the Travel Channel by Samantha Brown many years ago. We put it on our list of places to visit, but it kept getting pushed down the list. Last year, I decided it would be the place for my wife and I to celebrate our 15th wedding... More

This property is wonderfully located in Tofino at few steps away from the beach. All the staff is very welcoming and professional, special mention to their top concierge Yuvi. He took great care of us and organized our whale watching excursion and visit of Meares Island! Superb! We had the chance to meet Charles, the managing director, who is a... More

We had three couples that booked a trip to the Wickinninnish. We live in Seattle and wanted to show our friends the best of the Pacific Northwest. One couple came from Australia, the other from Monaco. Both are well traveled and have been all over the world…we all actually met on a trip to Antarctica. EVERYONE was blown away by... More
