Stayed two nights in an ocean front location on the first floor. Only disappointment was that you can't really see the ocean from your unit. I think the second level would be better. Also being on the first floor is noisy as you hear all the moving around in the room above you. No restaurant so eat out as there... more

We stayed here, at Pacific Sands, on June 26th for 2 nights in the Cox Bay suite, and as soon as we arrived we were stunned by the location of this hotel, right on the beach and everything is spotlessly clean. We were greeted at the front desk and told our room wasn't quite ready until another hour, so we... more

My family has been coming here for years and will continue to do so. There is nothing like the spectacular view that meets you as you wake up every morning, and the sunsets are wonderful. It's a great place to 'click off', rain or shine. Service is very good, we've never had any complaints. more

We stayed in a "lighthouse suite" in May 2009. We traveled with a dog, and they apparently have allocated the southernmost building to people traveling with pets. All units had west-facing living rooms and terraces - great for looking toward ocean and hearing the surf. But the buildings are set fairly far back from the beach. We made great use... more

I had read plenty of reviews and looked an lots of photos before we stayed at this place, but I have to say, it really did exceed our expectations...where to I begin.... The ferry journey over from Vancouver was dramatic as it was pouring with rain when we left Vancouver and very grey. We went on deck when the rain... more

this is one of the best places to stay in tofino adjoining cox bay. we stayed at the beach front suite for 3 nights. pros: 1) very friendly staff, 2) rooms have a fully loaded kitchen including pots and pans, salt, sugar, pepper, pretty much anything you need to cook yourself, 3) terrific view of the ocean, virtually on the... more

We had a girls getaway. It was wonderful. We got the 2 bedrooms Lodge. It was facing the beach. Beautiful!!! Great view. The rooms were very clean. Had all the necessary amenities. Most of all, they had WiFi! We had a great time. Totally recommends it to anyone that is going to Tofino. The only regret was they don't have... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at Pacific Sands Resort in Tofino. First, it is not really in Tofino, but about 7 km before Tofino,, no big deal, but you will need a car to go out for dinner, there is no restaurant on premise. The units do however all have kitchenettes so you could... more

Just spent 2 nights at Pacific Sands in the 3 bedroom villa and was very happy with everything. The 3 bedroom villa is wheelchair accessible which was important for one of us in the party of 6. There are 3 levels each with their own ensuite bathroom, plus a 2 piece on the main level. Lovely full size kitchen that... more
