Never seen washrooms and showers this dirty! The price was very high, internet did not work even though there was a charge. Will do better research next time.

Beautiful old cabins right on the beach. It's rustic, but nice especially if you're looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful place. A must to check out when in Tofino.
As visitors who had completely overlooked the fact we were trying to camp on labour day weekend, places to stay were limited. In fact, any reservable spot in the area seemed totally booked up, so our only choice was a first-come first-served campsite. We had wanted to stay in the provincial park site, but as we were needing to stay...

We should have read reviews before... terrible stay in Tofino. So many things to complain about... When we tried to open the door to our cabin, it was jammed. We were told we would get a discount for that... however, on the next day nobody was responsible/had the authority, we had to wait for the manager and so on... In...

Sadly all RV camps were fully occupied. Hence we had to stay one night at MacKenzie Beach Resort with our RV. For a little bit more money you can get much better places to stay around Tofino. The camp is old, "swimming pool" is dirty, restroom and showers: dirty. I would advice everybody to stay away from this place.

This property is on a family beach with 4 other resort properties. There is calm water, an opportunity for peaceful contemplation, and a great sunset view. The best aspects of being here are a great beach, doggy friendly attitudes, and exceptional tolerance of people for one another.
We have stayed here several times, over the years. This time, we were...

We wish we'd read reviews before staying at this resort. We stayed in an RV site which was small, with no privacy but what really turned us off was the shower, pool and hot tub. They appear to not be cleaned or maintained. We chose this resort because they had listed on their website that they have a pool and...

Total disappointment. For a homey down-to-earth rustic cabin @ $500 per night before tax, I did not expect to have to clean up the whole place myself upon arrival. It was filthy. There were spider webs, dead creatures, hair, and balls of dust under the sofa, beds, and at every corner of every room. There was caked and burnt food...

Normally we would just chock this up as a disappointment but we find it necessary to speak out. Beach and surroundings beautiful. At $449.00 a night for cabin which was not clean, outdated, unprivate we decided to leave early and go home to Parksville. I cleaned and swept under couches before we left and it was dirt and junk from...

The new staff and management were very friendly and helpful...they made it so easy for us to have a geat time. They were renoing the bathrooms when we were there, but there were washrooms in the pool area, so all was good. We had the best campsite in the place, we were dry and clean and just a hop and...
