We rented the one bedroom condo at Cox Bay Resort: 1. No view at all except into the neighbor's condo. I think the 2 bedroom condos may have a view. 2. Have to shut all the blinds to have privacy since we were surrounded by other units looking into ours. 3. They shut down the hot-tub and exercise room at... More

If the weather is good, you’ll be happy staying just about anywhere in Tofino or Ucluelet. If it’s bad, which it often is in winter, and you find yourself staying indoors, you’ll be glad you chose this comfortable resort. Units are spotlessly clean, spacious and tastefully furnished, with well-equipped kitchens, so if you don’t feel like braving the elements, you... More

We held an early family Christmas at the Cox Bay Beach Resort this year. We rented two suites for ourselves and our adult children. We could not have had a more perfect holiday!! We set up our little Christmas tree, and the full kitchen in the suite provided enough amenities for us to prepare a full turkey dinner. The rooms... More

November may not the be the best time to enjoy the sunshine and warmth of a Vancouver Island beach, but if you're interested in strolling on the beach with mother nature raging and frothing in your face then Tofino is the place to head. Storm watching has become Tofino, Ucluelet and Long Beach's second wind with many of the lodgings... More

Just got back from a 3 night getaway. Loved every thing about the resort. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and well laid out. It would be a perfect place for a group or family vacation. The common room is spectacular. Large sofa and chairs around a huge rock fireplace, with a full kitchen and bar-b-que. We will be going back.

A definite come back to resort. The one bedroom units are on the main floor, and do not have a view of the ocean. When the tide is high, the surf can be heard! The unit is nicely appointed. Unfortunately the couch in this unit has seen better days. The cushions were torn along the seam. Comfy tho! I preferred... More

Me and a mate ventured up to Tofino for week of surf and relaxation in Mid november 2011. We were surprised after checking in to the place of how well thought out the resort was. It had everything you could need in a kitchen, a living space, and a bathroom. The space was was well planned and offered an environment... More

Spent 3 nights in units 14 and 15, and loved this resort! The units are beautifully appointed, with many local touches and wood furniture...great couch and chair to read! Wished there would have been TV in bedroom. Kitchen and laundry very nice! All units open out into a private courtyard with walkway to the beach, which is beautiful! Nice lookout... More
