else otherwise there won't be rooms available next time we want to book in! Edward and Bill are very warm and charming hosts. The Birdsong is an extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated place to spend a few days - I would say a home from home except it's actually a lot better. Breakfasts are tasty, plentiful and well presented and... more

Coming from Connecticut, my boyfriend and I did not know what we were getting ourselves into when we set off to the Pacific Northwest. We chose Birdsong after reading these reviews and found them to be 100% correct. Edward and Bill made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we walked in. From the fabulous breakfasts to the unbelievable view... more

We booked three nights at the Birdsong based on Trip Advisor reviews that did not disapoint. It was a perfect romantic getaway to celebrate our engagement. Beginning with the cutest of canine greetings by Fred and Ethyl, Edward took us to the lovely Hummingbird room which offered a spectacular view of Ganges Harbour, and featured an antique stove and a... more

Birdsong was recommended to us by a traveller we met who had been all around the world. We asked him where was best, he told us about Saltspring and this great B&B. Years later we found the scrap of paper and changed our itinerary to fit in 2 nights in Birdsong. It was really worth the effort. All that has... more

My wife and I had an absolutely delightful time at Birdsong - we stayed there for two nights on our honeymoon (House Finch room). Bill and Edward could not have been more charming and gracious, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather and the breakfast company of a great group of other guests. The breakfasts, of course, were out of... more

I selected Birdsong B&B partly because of the wonderful reviews, including the recommendation to ask for the Crème Brule French Toast. My husband and I knew we made the right choice from the time we were greeted at the door by Edward and the doggy greeting party of Fred & Ethyl. Edward and Bill pampered us and shared many good... more

Bill and Edward are delightful hosts, and their house is a comfortable home-away-from-home, even in the dreadful weather we experienced this past week. Our guest room was spacious, with a lovely view of the water, and the electric woodstove-looking heater along with a couple of antique pieces from Germany afforded a gemuetlichkeit that we appreciated in the never-ending wintry weather... more

We have had the great pleasure of staying at Birdsong on several occassion. As hoteliers ourselves, we are so impressed with the hospitality offered to patrons of this truly preeminent B&B. The hosts are delightful, the accommodations exquisite, and the food divine. The bathrooms even have the same amentities as a Fairmont hotel!!! The rate is ridiculously low for what... more

We spent two nights at the Birdsong and recommend it highly. It is quiet but still close to Ganges. Our upstairs room had an amazing view, bath and shower and privacy. Great hosts and food. more
