My husband and I came here for part of our vacation a couple of weeks ago. We had booked a site, but didn't know which one was ours, so we chose one randomly. The site we chose was seeded with grass, so it was an excellent spot for our tent. Once we set the tent up, it made me think... More

My husband and I just had a wonderful weekend visit to Garden Faire Campground. We arrived on the late Friday night ferry (11pm) and Bill, Camp Host, welcomed us to our site with helpful suggestions on where to go and what to do. Being close to town was a real bonus. We took advantage of the trail through the park... More

Garden Fair campground is one of it's kind and it is definitely one of the prettiest non-wilderness campgrounds I have stayed at. Rustic, but cozy feel with beautiful flowers everywhere. Campsites are very clean providing decent privacy for the occupants. And great thing is - a short walk through the forest takes you right to hart of Salt Spring Island's... More

My partner and I stayed here over Easter weekend. Just coming in to high season, it was pretty empty and felt like we had the place to ourselves. Sites are flat and well equipped with fire ring and grill, table chairs, garbage can and yardhoses nearby for handwashing and drinking water. Pit toilets and coin-operated shower are open air and... My wife and I live on Salt Spring Island. WE camped here on 19 April 2014 for a mini stay-cation. We like these grounds a lot because: 1. the sites are large, flat and private (especially #7) 2. nearby amenities are a ten minute walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner 3. the site is on the bus route (we don't... This is a cute little campsite about ten minutes walk to the town Center. We stayed for two nights on two campsites and were saddened to find that there was no firewood available on site, nor were campfires allowed in the mornings (read: pack thermal wear and a toque, unless you want to be miserable in the morning dampness and... We loved camping at Garden Faire Campground, Rustic facilities that were wonderful - outdoor shower that was divine. Clean camp site under the tall trees, with enough privacy to make it enjoyable. Great trails - especially into town.

My gf and I stayed the labour day long weekend camping 2 people in one tent. The site was super easy to find and close to the downtown ganges but far enough away. Easy to hitchhike to and around the island. Yes the outdoor shower is one of the best things ever. An awesome way to start your day. The... More

Toilets full to overflowing, outside shower, dusty, dirty with no facilities. Only positives cheap, host friendly and near to town. If your into getting back to nature this is the place to go, if you want reasonably clean and not smelly dont bother.

I loved the camp sites, was beautiful. Nice walk into Ganges through connecting trail. I was a bit confused over the map, since the its a mix of letters and numbers (would be easier if all the sites were numbered). The sign was out saying the camp host would be back at a certain time but was quite late. So... More
