This B&B is nestled away on the northwestern shore of Saltspring Island. The owners/operators are very friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfasts are a delight with four courses to work through. There are four guests rooms available and each is wonderful but still with its' own charm and extraordinary view. These facilities are wheel chair accessible. From the very... more

I stayed at this B&B for a weekend during my honeymoon and we loved it! The truth is that the pictures on the internet are not the best ones so in few words the experience was: "underpromise and overdeliver". The place was beautiful and cozy, it is not what people think of a luxury hotel but the services of Annie... more

I've had the pleasure of staying at Anne's several times. This last time was just as wonderful as the first time many years ago. I just finally sat down to write about it!! Rick and Anne just don't lose their touch with time!! It feels like every detail is taken care of, and their warm and welcoming home just gets... more

This was a wonderful place for us to stay on the island. The breakfast's were fantastic. You really did not need lunch. We took our daughter and husband for her birthday and it was a spectacular trip. The rooms were well comfortable and roomy. The morning coffee and tea delivered to the room was that extra special touch. more

My husband and I spent a weekend here in September. This B & B has so much going for it, it's hard to know where to start. The house itself is just beautiful, with a huge deck, a living room and a library, all with spectacular ocean views. Check out Annie's art collection (by a local artist) which is displayed... more

We were immediately greeted with warm hospitality and friendly B&B owners. The views were stunning, the B&B was very clean, and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Everything was thought of - tea and cookies before bed, coffee at our door in the morning, and a friendly dog to take to the beach! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will be... more

One of our favourite and frequent getaway spots to stay on Saltspring Island near Victoria is Anne’s Oceanfront Hideaway B&B on Simson Road. We start to unwind as we reach the front door and can see the spectacular ocean view off the huge deck. This time we spotted a baby eagle, flickers, and hummingbirds. We also saw a very new... more

Whether we were standing on the veranda and looking at the stars or down at the beach watching the dog pull starfish out of the water, we enjoyed every minute we were at this bed and breakfast. Rick and Ruth-Anne are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to provide you with everything you need, whether it be a... more

My husband and I had the perfect stay at Anne's Oceanfront Hideaway this month. Our room had a breathtaking view of the water and several forested islands, including Vancouver Island. We enjoyed watching a seal frolick in the water close to the shore. The breakfasts and snacks were gourmet and delicious: Anne makes a yogurt and granola dish that's excellent,... more

Our ferry was late but even though we arrived at 11:30 p.m. our host graciously showed us our room and took our order for the morning tea and juice that arrived with a gentle knock at 8 a.m.! The breakfasts made us feel like we were at a 5 star hotel but both Rick and Ruth-Anne were friendly and helpful!... more
