We spent the weekend at Wisteria, celebrating my husband 's 50th birthday. The breakfasts were outstanding and the high tea we had was a really special treat. Every mouthful was a little taste of heaven. How often to you get the opportunity to eat food prepared by a world class chef at incredibly reasonable prices. The hosts were so generous... More

My partner and I had a delightful one night stay at the Wisteria as part of a wine tour of Salt Springs and Vancouver Islands. Very tranquil setting, a few mins walk from Ganges with an awesome star filled sky to look up at on the walk back after dinner. Our room was charming and comfy, we slept like logs.... More

As many have said, the breakfast is excellent and the property is lovely. However, for the price, I found the accommodation quite rustic. The room felt damp and the furniture was very plain. Len was helpful and friendly, while Beverly was curt at times and not very friendly. Too busy making croissants, I guess.

I am only responding to this review in order to show how people see things differently. The previous reviewer stayed in the exact same room just a week before and found the room to be "delightful, with comfortable beds, lovely linens, and absolutely fabulous colors". At the same time, Beverly went from being "welcoming" to "not very friendly". Fortunately, most... More

The Wisteria Guest House provided possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten at a B&B. The guest house is extraordinarily well run, and our room was delightful, with comfortable beds, lovely linens, and absolutely fabulous colors. Beverly and Len were welcoming to me and my 12-year-old daughter, and gave excellent suggestions for exploring and eating, absolutely lovely and professional. The... More

This guest house has beautiful gardens and lovely places to curl up with a good book if you wish. The hosts are skilled and experienced in the hospitality industry, especially Beverley who is a trained and experienced chef. Breakfast included warm almond croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt, eggs and good coffee. You are away from the hussle and bussle of... More

Had the pleasure of staying two nights in this lovely B and B off the beaten path. I did some research for me and my 5 girlfriends to celebrate my 50th birthday. What drew me to this location was that there was room for all of us to spread out (lots of deck and gardens) and take in both private... More

Stayed at this lovely B&B with 5 other girlfriends for a 50th birthday getaway celebration. The hosts Len and Bev are very kind and accomodating hosts who served up a fabulous 2 course breakfast both mornings we were there. I have food allergies and they were very quick to check and provide meals that were safe for me to eat.... More

The Wisteria Guest House is a little bed and breakfast run by Len, Beverly and Kimoko Brown, located at 268 Park Drive on Salt Spring Island BC. Phone 250-537-5899. What an enjoyable stay we had. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal and the house is on an acre of gardens-quite delightful especially in the sun. We woke up the... More

So many people forget how lovely simplicity can be and on Salt Spring you are on Island time. Wisteria Guest house and its owners Len and Beverly are generous and kind people. They have a lovely home that they have opened for others to share. This is a place to come and relax with no frills and no fuss. Their... More

Overall Salt Spring is highly overpriced so this was mid range. We stayed in Studio #2 and it was well equipped but quite cramped. It was clean and the basics were there but for the price there was nothing special about it. The bed was VERY soft. Don't plan to sleep in since one wall has a row of glass... More
