Our family travels a lot, but this is the only place we return to year after year. This is out 9th year at the resort, and it was great as always. Comfortable, clean, family-friendly and so relaxing. The lake is fantastic for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and fishing. Hosts Tom and Judy are so warm and welcoming, it's like meeting... More

This is our 5th summer taking our holidays at Cusheon Lake Resort! We love and will continue to come each and every summer. Our son has grown up there over these last years and wants to return each year for our little piece of paradise. Thank you so much to Tom & Judy for making it so wonderful to come... More

Clean, quiet, helpful staff and super fun - this resort was perfect for a sunny vacation with my two teenagers. Lots to do for kids of all ages: swimming, fishing, canoeing, stand-up paddle boards (boats/boards included free), curling up in the sun with a book, relaxing in the hot tub. And yes...the all important Wi-Fi is available in every cabin.... More

Always clean, always friendly staff, always quiet except for the frollicking you and the children can have swimming and playing in the lake. Cottages are well designed, all have nice porches to sit and read that great book and sip that glass of wine. Caution avoid the two A-Frames I can not recomend these, bad floor plan tiny beds not so... More

My family and I have been going to Salt Spring Island for many years now and every time we think about where we want to stay we almost always go here. With lots of cozy log cabins to choose from, a beautiful lake to swim, canoe, and paddle board in, this resort is the perfect place to go to if... More

This is our family's 5th visit, and each visit brings back memories of truly peaceful days canoeing around this small lake. Self-serve canoes and paddle boards with lifejackets included in cost...great deal these days. Even though always busy, it is easy to feel like you are alone at your own cottage with no one around. It is so quiet. Great... More

Introduced to the resort by friends who've been going there for 30 years! It was absolutely lovely - so peaceful especially at 8 a.m. watching my daughter swim off the dock whilst sitting on the deck with my two grandchildren. The beauty of the lake as the light changed through the day was magical. Had a quiet time sitting on... More

This was our 20th visit to Cusheon Lake Resort. We having been coming for so long, we now consider it to be "our" summer cottage. We are happy to see the same familiar faces who re-book at the same time every year and it is fun to see new families enjoying the resort. The resort is on a quiet lake,... More

Cusheon Lake is a wonderful magical piece of paradise. Warm friendly kind hosts gently guide their guests towards anything they need. The lake is magical and the Island of Salt Spring is absolutely wonderful. This was the most perfect introduction to our three week trip to Canada. We could have stayed forever.

If you're looking for a lovely island retreat look no further! I went with a group for the Canada Day long weekend and we had a blast. I would certainly look at going back for a nice couples getaway as well. I was worried about how easy it would be to find once I arrived on the island but the... More
