My family got a chance of a nothing-to-do weekend suddenly, that was Friday 4 pm. I called the resort about 6 pm and everything arranged in a short talk over the phone. Very helpful we could had a one night stay departed from Victoria. The cottage we stay was fabulous! It faces the lake and just few steps to it.... More

We are adding a couple more canoes into the fleet this week, as well as, doing repairs on the canoes we already have so that lots of guests can get out on the water. Hope to see you again and thanks for reviewing. More

Our daughter and 2 grandsons accompanied us to Saltspring in March. It had rained hard before we got there but eased off over our 3 night stay. We found lots of kid-friendly things to do in the area; hiking the Chris Hadfield trail, beach combing and of course ice-cream in Ganges! The resort has canoes and we used them twice... More

Grandparents, parents and children staying in a cabin together or in cabins close by each other adds to the feeling of community at Cusheon Lake Resort. Yes, there seem to be more turtles this year than ever before. Be sure to look at the logs snagged at the shoreline in the hopes of seeing a turtle lazing in the sun! More

Went there for just the one night during the winter season. Was very quaint and cozy. Great place with Canoo that we took out on the lake! Owners are very nice. Hearing the frogs croak at night was just beautiful!

I decided to go away for my birthday , so I rented 2 cabins , one for my husband and I and one for my dad . Both cabins were clean and comfortable , the views were beautiful , no luck fishing , but it didn't really matter . We had a picnic down at the barbeque area for my... More

I was just talking to a friend about birthdays and saying that when you plan to do something special and it turns out to be a great plan, then you will remember that birthday forever! So pleased that you enjoyed your birthday at Cusheon Lake Resort. Your review is greatly appreciated. Oh, and the lake was stocked with trout a... More

My husband and I have been visiting this resort each year for a number of years now. At first it was a romantic get away from the city for just the two of us. Then we enjoyed our first vacation as a family of three with our infant son. This trip was our second trip as a family of 4... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night at Cusheon Lake Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here next time we need accommodation on Saltspring Island. The cabin was lakeside, peaceful and tranquil, very clean, it had all and more than we needed. We remarked we could easily live in this adorable well kept one bedroom... More

Congratulations and thank you for writing the 100th review for Cusheon Lake Resort on Trip Advisor. Thank you also for pointing out many of the important qualities provided for in the resorts' lakeside cabins. There is a modem in each cabin for the wifi and it could be that the one in your cabin needed to be rebooted as is... More

Wood-burning fireplaces are almost always a great draw for guests booking at Cusheon Lake Resort. And isn't nice to know that at slower times of the year you don't have to make your plans too far ahead. Please do return for a visit in the spring, summer or fall... and thank you for writing your review. More

My son and I booked a cabin at Cusheon lake for a new years get away. The owners were lovely and helpful both with the booking and by suggesting day trips in the area. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Even though it was January we canoed on the lake outside our cabin (wonderful... More

We enjoyed hosting the two of you very much. Please do keep in touch and let us know how the 'bucket list of ferry rides' works out. The resort is busier in the summer time and that can be a very good thing. There are lots of opportunities for boating and swimming, BBQing and meeting other people. We remember the... More

I came over for 2 nights solo. I enjoyed one of the smaller cabins, refraining from even using the bedroom or pullout couch. I pulled the couch up to the fire and relaxed. I lit a fire and listened to music and read and created. I walked to the dock each morning with my coffee to watch the sunrise and... More

Thank you for a great family holiday and spending time with our daughter who lives on Salt Spring Island.
