If you're looking for a lovely island retreat look no further! I went with a group for the Canada Day long weekend and we had a blast. I would certainly look at going back for a nice couples getaway as well. I was worried about how easy it would be to find once I arrived on the island but the... More

The cabin on the lake with all-you-can-get canoeing and a hot tub - what sort of a wizardry is this? Really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and even a few funny comments left in the guest book of the cabin #5. The folks that run the place are the friendliest and most helpful hosts I encountered. Most definitely will return

Great resort, nice and quiet surroundings not far from the town of Ganges to buy groceries etc. The lake is great for swimming. The only downsize is if it is hot then bring a couple of fans some of the cabins are hot to sleep in. The Mgrs are great and take great care of their guests

We arrived earlier this week with our daughter and my mother for a two-night stay. Tom and Judy were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was spotless! And our king sized beds were very comfortable. They were so spacious we still had ample room when our daughter crawled into bed with us at 5am. While the rest of the island was... More

Driving into the resort and meeting Judy, Tom and Lulu, I could tell immediately that we were going to enjoy our stay....and we did! The cabins were very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The lake was warm and the facilities were well maintained. We had several cabins with friends and they were close... More

Some of the descriptive words in the titles of the reviews I have been replying to are definitely alliterative and often repeated. So many times guests have written the following words: perfect, pristine, peaceful, pleasant, paradise, uncomplicated, wonderful, tranquil, outstanding, idyllic, favourite, fantastic, serenity, charming, comfortable, beautiful, best, bliss, magic, quiet, restful, relaxing, rejuvenating & refreshing...and more? Cusheon Lake Resort is a wonderfully relaxing place, where you can truly listen to the silence on your porch or canoe, or enjoy a nice swim in the pristine lake, a real nature experience! Just like Salt Spring Island Cusheon Lake Resort is a gem. The lovely cabins are well appointed with just the right amount of kitchen utensils and... More

Just after 9:00 last evening, I took a walk around the grounds of Cusheon Lake Resort to see what was going on. There were people sitting on the dock enjoying each others' company, cabin doors were wide open letting in the fresh air as people relaxed in their living areas, a couple was sitting holding hands on their cabin deck,... We tend to head up island to Parksville for our family vacations but decided to try a new place. Stumbled on Cusheon Lake Resort and so happy we did! We had a great cottage right on the lake. Our kids spent as much time in the water as they could. There is a small beach for little kids who prefer... More

It is so much fun when school is out and more children arrive on the property. Looking out the office window right now I see a brilliantly pink inflatable raft, a friendly looking lime green alligator floatie and swim noodles of many different sizes and colours. 'Children' of all ages enjoy floating on the lake, cannon-balling off the raft or... More

I can't believe this great resort is only located a few hours from Vancouver. Thanks Tom, Judy and Lulu for making this weekend such a memorable experience. The cabins were perfectly stocked with all of your essentials, including beach towels and were so clean! Couldn't have asked for a better time Canada Day long weekend. Looking forward to coming back... More

In actual fact, the majority of the guests staying at Cusheon Lake Resort live on Vancouver Island and in the lower mainland of BC. They find it a pleasure to travel such a short distance and to find themselves in a totally different world. We are happy to know that Cusheon Lake Resort and we, as managers are able to... More

Our trip to Cusheon Lake Resort was unlike most of the reviews here as our intent was entirely different. Friends of ours booked out the resort to celebrate their upcoming wedding with 30 of their friends and family. Judy and Tom were so wonderful to deal with and were both accomodating and welcoming. We arrived on a late ferry and... More

We went for the long weekend with a group of friends, this is a beautiful quiet location. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin, it was clean and stocked with all the amenities you need for food and swimming in the lake. All cabins were basically on the water, with stunning views over the lake. What a way to wake... More

It was delightful having your group stay for the weekend. The resort is a great place for individuals, families and groups. It is set up for privacy as well as a communal feel if you choose. There is nothing like the smell of the charcoal being lit at the BBQ area with 4 grills and to hear people visiting and... More
