We just returned from a one-week stay at the Cusheon Lake Resort. Our family (2 adults 3 children 8 to 16) stayed in a cabin on the lake's edge and drank in the beauty. We were very lucky in terms of weather... it was in the high 60s and low 70s during our stay with one rainy afternoon. The lake... More

There is still a lot of 'green' around the resort despite the continued hot and dry weather. Bob spent a few days last week making sure that all of the canoes are patched up, so hopefully no more leaks until the next time. Hopefully Cusheon Lake Resort and Salt Spring Island will draw you back again for another visit. From... More

The cabins are in fantastic condition; just right for a cabin. A wonderful fireplace, with wood provided for a nice evening fire. So quiet at night, with just frogs croaking. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms were nice and dark. Beds very, very comfortable. We plan to return. Nice location, not far from Ganges and the Farmer's Market.

Well it is our hope that the cabins are clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable and it certainly sounds like our goal was met for you. Thanks for letting us and others know this. See you again...oh and even the frogs are quieting down now! More

Great little get away. Was our first time there and won't be our last. It was so peaceful at night and though out the day. The cabin had everything we needed to make it comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Even with a wedding group here for the weekend, the grounds have been quiet, except of course, for the occasional tinkle of spoons on glasses and the kisses of the happily married couple. More

We live in a beautiful part of Vancouver Island, so many wonder why we would ever need to get away. But we do occasionally and Cusheon Lake is perfect for us, especially as a cozy winter get-away-and-do-nothing place. The fireplaces (not available in the chalets) and lake make all the difference for what we need, a romantic getaway for two.... More

From Nanoose to Salt Spring Island and Cusheon Lake Resort - such a short trip and yet you express the feeling of 'getting away'. It is too hot and dry to use the fireplaces at this time, but the lake is a draw for everyone - swimming, canoeing, paddle-boarding and even a bit of fishing still going on... More

First, we were so happy the owners were nice enough to send back an item we had accidentally left behind! Very kind of them to take the trouble. This resort is located on a very pretty little lake on a spit surrounded by water. It's only a short drive to the amenities of Ganges but in quiet and beautiful natural... More

It is great to read your review and we appreciate you taking the time to do so. It sounds like you enjoyed writing the review almost as much as you enjoyed staying here. The resort property is on the tip of a peninsula with the lake on three sides with very natural grounds. The village of Ganges is only a... More

My family got a chance of a nothing-to-do weekend suddenly, that was Friday 4 pm. I called the resort about 6 pm and everything arranged in a short talk over the phone. Very helpful we could had a one night stay departed from Victoria. The cottage we stay was fabulous! It faces the lake and just few steps to it.... More

We are adding a couple more canoes into the fleet this week, as well as, doing repairs on the canoes we already have so that lots of guests can get out on the water. Hope to see you again and thanks for reviewing. More

Our daughter and 2 grandsons accompanied us to Saltspring in March. It had rained hard before we got there but eased off over our 3 night stay. We found lots of kid-friendly things to do in the area; hiking the Chris Hadfield trail, beach combing and of course ice-cream in Ganges! The resort has canoes and we used them twice... More

Grandparents, parents and children staying in a cabin together or in cabins close by each other adds to the feeling of community at Cusheon Lake Resort. Yes, there seem to be more turtles this year than ever before. Be sure to look at the logs snagged at the shoreline in the hopes of seeing a turtle lazing in the sun! More

Went there for just the one night during the winter season. Was very quaint and cozy. Great place with Canoo that we took out on the lake! Owners are very nice. Hearing the frogs croak at night was just beautiful!

The frogs sing from March to July. The bass nest under the docks from April to July. You may also see deer, beaver, eagles and lots of other bird life! Thanks for coming to stay and for reviewing Cusheon Lake Resort! More

So pleased that you enjoyed your birthday at Cusheon Lake Resort. Your review is greatly appreciated. Oh, and the lake was stocked with trout a... More

My husband and I have been visiting this resort each year for a number of years now. At first it was a romantic get away from the city for just the two of us. Then we enjoyed our first vacation as a family of three with our infant son. This trip was our second trip as a family of 4... More

How wonderful to read that a family of four can have such a pleasurable stay at Cusheon Lake Resort in March. It sounds like you were able to find a good balance between inside and outdoor activities to make you stay enjoyable. Thanks! See you next year? More
