My husband and I have been visiting this resort each year for a number of years now. At first it was a romantic get away from the city for just the two of us. Then we enjoyed our first vacation as a family of three with our infant son. This trip was our second trip as a family of 4... More

How wonderful to read that a family of four can have such a pleasurable stay at Cusheon Lake Resort in March. It sounds like you were able to find a good balance between inside and outdoor activities to make you stay enjoyable. Thanks! See you next year? More

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night at Cusheon Lake Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here next time we need accommodation on Saltspring Island. The cabin was lakeside, peaceful and tranquil, very clean, it had all and more than we needed. We remarked we could easily live in this adorable well kept one bedroom... More

Congratulations and thank you for writing the 100th review for Cusheon Lake Resort on Trip Advisor. Thank you also for pointing out many of the important qualities provided for in the resorts' lakeside cabins. There is a modem in each cabin for the wifi and it could be that the one in your cabin needed to be rebooted as is... More

Wood-burning fireplaces are almost always a great draw for guests booking at Cusheon Lake Resort. And isn't nice to know that at slower times of the year you don't have to make your plans too far ahead. Please do return for a visit in the spring, summer or fall... and thank you for writing your review. More

My son and I booked a cabin at Cusheon lake for a new years get away. The owners were lovely and helpful both with the booking and by suggesting day trips in the area. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Even though it was January we canoed on the lake outside our cabin (wonderful... More

We enjoyed hosting the two of you very much. Please do keep in touch and let us know how the 'bucket list of ferry rides' works out. The resort is busier in the summer time and that can be a very good thing. There are lots of opportunities for boating and swimming, BBQing and meeting other people. We remember the... More

I came over for 2 nights solo. I enjoyed one of the smaller cabins, refraining from even using the bedroom or pullout couch. I pulled the couch up to the fire and relaxed. I lit a fire and listened to music and read and created. I walked to the dock each morning with my coffee to watch the sunrise and... More

After reading this review, I am ready to go stay in a cabin for a couple of nights myself. It just sounds so relaxing and soul-opening. Thanks! More

Thank you for a great family holiday and spending time with our daughter who lives on Salt Spring Island. This is such a excellent place for a quiet retreat and the cabins are so clean and equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is great and the fireplace in the cabin was so enjoyed by all. Wood was always... More

What a wonderful three days my husband and I had at this resort - the cabins are spit spot clean, with everything you could possibly need - we loved the warmth and coziness of the cabin and enjoyed making our own dinner each evening and sitting in front of the wood burning fireplace - the grounds are very well maintained... We appreciate your review of Cusheon Lake Resort. The resort is located on the tip of a peninsula and the cabins are well placed all the way around. The cabins are mostly log, one and two bedrooms, and in addition there are two cedar chalets with lofts. You were really able to express what we try to do, maintaining the... More

It was our first time visiting Salt Spring Island and we chose this place based on other reviews. The place is beside the lake and you couldn't hear any traffic at all. The peace and tranquility of this place is soothing and relaxing. Stunning view in the morning. We were surprised by some of the amenities that we didn't expect.... More

Children of all ages, big and small, male and female all seem to find plenty of time to play outside when visiting Cusheon Lake Resort. One day some of the children were playing on the paddle boards and their fathers were on the dock taking photo after photo. I found myself wondering if they had taken a video too because... More

What a wonderful stay we had a Cusheon Lake Resort. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air, while truly being a family friendly escape (our beagle had a great time aswell.) We loved exploring the lake in the canoes, taking in the wildlife, hiking around the property, and swimming out to the dock. The view from the cabin front... More

The Good: The location is pretty. The resort boasts a 270 degree access to the small, clean, calm lake. The cabins are well appointed and rustic . The kitchen and bathroom were clean had all the amenities. The fireplace worked well. There are a number of docks for a morning coffee, or swim. The owners were friendly and helpful. There... More
