I had a cozy wonderful cabin. Very clean and well maintained with a great fireplace and plenty of wood. It had a great view and there were plenty of canoes to take out. My only regret is that I didn't head out for a paddle til the last day. Pet friendly too and my dog had a fantastic vacation as... More

Isn't it an amazing spot to go canoeing? Sometimes the lake looks just like a mirror with a paddle making a few ripples. Hope you'll be back for more paddling and maybe a go on one of our stand up paddle boards! More

I have been intending to write a review for the last 4 years, always forget...... So, I am writing it while sitting on the deck, overlooking the lake, right here at the resort. This is the 5th year we have ventured over here. We stumbled across it 5 years ago when we stayed for one night and have since came... More

What a comprehensive review! Would love to see some of your photos on our Facebook page too. You are absolutely correct, some of the families who have been staying here for 30 years were with us this week. We certainly agree on all counts and very much look forward to meeting you next July - and seeing that back flip!... More

This is the fourth year we've gone to Cusheon Lake. We have our favourite cabin (not saying which one - don't want you to take it on the week we are coming) The property is beautiful, the owners are wonderful and it is secluded enough to allow you to completely relax. The only thing we miss is the fact that... More

One of your "favourite places in the world" ! That is awesome. Yes still many great places to eat for any mood and budget. We just had a family go in for a big birthday dinner at Auntie Pesto's, a couple for a date at "sing along" night at Moby's pub, and another gentleman caught his own dinner - a... More

We had a wonderful week at Cusheon Lake Resort. We were there as a family celebrating my husband's 70th birthday. We had rented three cabins for our family and they were all just perfect . Each unit was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with every thing needed for preparing our meals. We did... More

Sounds like a wonderful birthday and holiday all round. It's a great home-away-from-home for family to meet up. We originally thought the same thing about needing screens on the doors, but then we found so few bugs - and none ever seemed to come inside. Thanks for taking the time to write this recommendation much appreciated!!! More

Enjoyed swimming in the lake and did some canoeing as well. The Cabin we stayed at had a beautiful view of the lake (cabin 1A). Very friendly staff, thank you Tom and Judy. The cabin was very clean, and very well maintained - with excellent free WiFi. Took the drive up Mt Maxwell, which provided us with a breathtaking view... More

We first stayed here in 2012, in Cabin 9 near the resort entrance. This time, we booked in March and got Cabin 5, which overlooks the lake and has a king-sized bed in the bedroom. Tom and Judy were oh so friendly and welcoming, and our cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. At day's end the water was warm from... More

We just returned from a one-week stay at the Cusheon Lake Resort. Our family (2 adults 3 children 8 to 16) stayed in a cabin on the lake's edge and drank in the beauty. We were very lucky in terms of weather... it was in the high 60s and low 70s during our stay with one rainy afternoon. The lake... More

There is still a lot of 'green' around the resort despite the continued hot and dry weather. Bob spent a few days last week making sure that all of the canoes are patched up, so hopefully no more leaks until the next time. Hopefully Cusheon Lake Resort and Salt Spring Island will draw you back again for another visit. From... More

The cabins are in fantastic condition; just right for a cabin. A wonderful fireplace, with wood provided for a nice evening fire. So quiet at night, with just frogs croaking. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms were nice and dark. Beds very, very comfortable. We plan to return. Nice location, not far from Ganges and the Farmer's Market.

Well it is our hope that the cabins are clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable and it certainly sounds like our goal was met for you. Thanks for letting us and others know this. See you again...oh and even the frogs are quieting down now! More

Great little get away. Was our first time there and won't be our last. It was so peaceful at night and though out the day. The cabin had everything we needed to make it comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Even with a wedding group here for the weekend, the grounds have been quiet, except of course, for the occasional tinkle of spoons on glasses and the kisses of the happily married couple. More

We live in a beautiful part of Vancouver Island, so many wonder why we would ever need to get away. But we do occasionally and Cusheon Lake is perfect for us, especially as a cozy winter get-away-and-do-nothing place. The fireplaces (not available in the chalets) and lake make all the difference for what we need, a romantic getaway for two.... More

From Nanoose to Salt Spring Island and Cusheon Lake Resort - such a short trip and yet you express the feeling of 'getting away'. It is too hot and dry to use the fireplaces at this time, but the lake is a draw for everyone - swimming, canoeing, paddle-boarding and even a bit of fishing still going on... More
