It was our first time visiting Salt Spring Island and we chose this place based on other reviews. The place is beside the lake and you couldn't hear any traffic at all. The peace and tranquility of this place is soothing and relaxing. Stunning view in the morning. We were surprised by some of the amenities that we didn't expect.... More

Children of all ages, big and small, male and female all seem to find plenty of time to play outside when visiting Cusheon Lake Resort. One day some of the children were playing on the paddle boards and their fathers were on the dock taking photo after photo. I found myself wondering if they had taken a video too because... More

What a wonderful stay we had a Cusheon Lake Resort. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air, while truly being a family friendly escape (our beagle had a great time aswell.) We loved exploring the lake in the canoes, taking in the wildlife, hiking around the property, and swimming out to the dock. The view from the cabin front... More

Great to hear that you are thinking of coming to stay again with your extended family. We have a number of families that have been coming to stay together for years. They always appreciate being together to play, visit and share meals, as well as, having their own cabin to settle down in each evening. We will look forward to... More

The Good: The location is pretty. The resort boasts a 270 degree access to the small, clean, calm lake. The cabins are well appointed and rustic . The kitchen and bathroom were clean had all the amenities. The fireplace worked well. There are a number of docks for a morning coffee, or swim. The owners were friendly and helpful. There... More

Thank you for sharing the good news with others. Please do not hesitate to speak to us if things do not seem as you expected as in your experience with the canoes and hot tub. In the busy season the office is open until 9:00 with an intercom button available for guests to contact us if we are not right... More

We are happy to provide and maintain the cabins, facilities and amenities at Cusheon Lake Resort for your enjoyment. It sounds like the weather certainly added to your experience too. Here it is one week later, with the days turning cooler, and all of a sudden the fireplaces are in use more than the paddle boards. Thank you for taking... More

What a perfect get away! Log cabin next to the lake. Quiet, peaceful location. Canoes available for use. Nature at your doorstep. Tom & Judy are perfect hosts. This is our 4th time at Cusheon Lake and still loving it. We will be back again to listen to the sounds of nature instead of city traffic. Thank you for keeping... More

Thanks so much for writing a review for Cusheon Lake Resort. I was just speaking to another guest a moment ago who has had her camera in hand the whole time she has been here and is delighted with her photographs of nature. This was my first trip to Salt Spring Island, and I made a great choice in places to stay. Judy and Tom were very nice and helpful ( and they have a super cute dog!) The one bedroom cabin was perfect for the two of us, lots of space but cozy too. It was a cloudy weekend so we didnt... More

It is good to hear you say that the one-bedroom cabins are large enough and still cozy because cozy is important at a place like this. A winter visit can be even cozier with a fire burning in the brick fireplace... See you again soon! More

Our family travels a lot, but this is the only place we return to year after year. This is out 9th year at the resort, and it was great as always. Comfortable, clean, family-friendly and so relaxing. The lake is fantastic for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and fishing. Hosts Tom and Judy are so warm and welcoming, it's like meeting... More

Clean, quiet, helpful staff and super fun - this resort was perfect for a sunny vacation with my two teenagers. Lots to do for kids of all ages: swimming, fishing, canoeing, stand-up paddle boards (boats/boards included free), curling up in the sun with a book, relaxing in the hot tub. And yes...the all important Wi-Fi is available in every cabin.... More
