This family run B&B is located approximately 7 kilometres north of Ganges and is easy to find. We stayed in the Blue room which was clean tidy and simply furnished in a Scandinavian style. The room did not have a TV, neither did it have any upholstered chairs in which to sit and relax. No Kleenex tissues were provided so... more

The kleenex are located in the bookshelf in the room and not in the bathroom because we are on a septic tank. We have decided not to have TV in our guest rooms because our visitors come to explore the island and enjoy a get-away from from usual life.

My husband and I stayed and Acorn House for May long weekend and it was a relaxing weekend away. The room was clean with great extras like a microwave, small fridge, kettle ( with a selection of tea) so we could prepare snacks. We spent a weekend at Acorn House this February, we booked at the very last minute but that wasn't a problem, Charlotte took care of our dietary needs on short notice when preparing the wonderful cooked breakfast for us.
