My company booked me a room at this place and when I showed up I couldn't find anyone at the front desk. It took them 10 minutes to realize I was there, all while I was enduring a thick musty/moldy curry smell. Then the receptionist brought me to my room... He left right away with no chance to ask questions.... More

This motel is really not top notch, even with motel standards. The rooms are really worn down and the beds are not that comfy. I was nice and gave it 3 dots just for it's picturesque feeling (ok, sarcasm, but the motel gives you a feeling of being in a bad horror movie in the middle of nowhere). Didn't have... More

This place is really close to the ski hill. The room we got was clean, but dated. The kitchenette is old and the lack of kitchen fan makes the room smell when cooking. The kitchen utensils are in bad condition. When we checked in they told us that everybody that stays here are skiers. Then I had to sign a... More

A group of 14 stayed at the Casa Alpina for 2 nights just after Christmas, 2014. On arrival, we were a bit concerned. Our room booking was incorrect and others who had booked on-line were perplexed because the owners had no record of their reservation. Thank goodness there had been many cancellations due to poor snow, or we might have... More

Came to Rossland for a Minor Hockey tournament. Wanted to stay at a bigger hotel, like always, but nothing else was available. At first I was not too crazy about staying here. I prefer Hotels. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable, and I am very picky when it comes to beds. The room was a bit... More

Checked in at 8:30pm. First thing, walk in the door and maain light switch by door not working. The room was freezing cold, could see my own breath. I turned the heater, didn't warm up till 1 am. Dirty, run down, never stay again. I can't believe I stayed!

We stayed on Sat. night June 28th. We had been to a car show in Trail BC that day. Rather than drive home to Colbert (north of Spokane) and contend with the deer on the highway (we were driving our Corvette) we decided to stay over. We had one of the kitchenette rooms, even though we didn't cook any meals... More

Great location for hitting the slopes without having to splash out on expensive accommodation. Small, dated room was clean-ish.. Generous breakfast kept us going until lunch. Plastic pillows distracted from otherwise comfortable sleep. Attentive staff with a welcoming manager open to feedback and plans to renovate and expand the breakfast. Good value.

Room 27, As a place to sleep close to Red Mountain, this motel does just fine. Though on the highway there isn't much traffic and noise was not a concern. The heater works quickly to warm the room but is too noisy to leave on at night. By morning the room was still a comfortable temperature and was brought back... More
