Our ferry from Vancouver Island had a 2,5 hours delay and arrived at 1 PM in Prince Rupert. We were worried about our reservations at Andree's B&B, but it worked out very well. Andree was informed by the ferry services, like every accommodation in town. We arrived and the door was open. There was a note with our room number... more

Four of us stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the experience, made very welcome by Andree and Dave, not to mention the cat. The house would not appeal if you like standardised soul-less lodgings but we found nothing at all to quibble about, enjoying the views and building itself. On our first trip to Canada touring around for 3 weeks staying at both b&b's and hotels this was our worst experience. We arrived from the 'Skeena' train approx. 10pm to find a message left on the porch window telling us our room number and asking us to phone her as she was out.
