A week on the road (or sea) was interupted by a few days stay at the Inn. Virginia was welcoming and put us up in ocean view rooms with beautiful linens, flat panel TV, well appointed seating areas and free wireless. Every morning, hot coffee, juice, muffins, toast or scones await you in the lobby lounge. Clean, warm, friendly and... more

Stayed at the Inn on the Harbour for five days during a business trip to Prince Rupert. This was a real gold nugget of a find in the north. Nice room fully updated with a stunning view of the most beautiful harbour in Canada. All staff were very friendly and helpful with the staff at the front desk all deserving... more

Not a good place to stay. Our room had a distinct sewage odor that did not abate the 2 nights we spent there. Hotel clerk's comment was :Oh reallY', First night the room was cold as there was no heat. Others also complained and the next night the heat was on! We needed to stay 4 nights, but 2 was... more

We had two nights here in a harbour view room. The view was great and we were able to enjoy it better with the in-room binoculars; a deer came and sat outside the room to enjoy the morning sunshine. The location is central. Breakfast ok - including yoghourts and fruit. Couldn't make a decent cup of tea with the coffee... more

My partner and I arrived off the BC ferry from Port Hardy. Our stay was a stopover to catch the ferry onto Juneau. The first room we stayed in was small and was disapppointing for the price. We managed to acquire another larger room and this room was quite good. We had no real opportunity to appreciate the view that... more

Poor looking motel and dito room. The furniture is very old and rooms smells musty. Poor ventilation and very noisy. The water that comes out of the tab is a bit yellowish. The first thing we heard when we wanted to check in was that we may not have a room (even though it was reserved 2 months prior to... more

After a rather disappointing stay in Burns Lake, we drove to Prince Rupert, walked in, and got a room. We were fortunate because later on in the evening, the place was sold out. The views of the harbour are spectacular and more interesting than even the large flat-screen tv mounted on the wall. For such a beautiful location, I was... more

This is a decent place: spacious and renovated clean rooms, friendly staff etc. What makes it above average are the gorgeous views of the bay from the large windows. I would recommend spending a little extra for a room with a sea view. The hotel is also within walking distance of everything downtown and has easy access to the ferry... more

Be sure to request the rooms with a view over the harbour....wonderful to watch the boats coming and going, eagles flying by and sunsets. Most rooms have been renovated within the past year...small fridge in the room and hairdryers in bathroom. I have eaten in the dining room last year and liked the Italian meals...this year I had a take-out... more
