I had searched online and saw they showed avaialabilty for that night. I asked her if i booked it online would they have a room? She said yes probably,... More

We really enjoyed this hotel, it's clean and decorated so nicely. We had two rooms for our family, one was on the street side which was very nice and modern. Our room had a harbor view with a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom had a nice rain shower and also heated tile which was so nice. The staff... More

Having taken the 15 hr ferry journey along the inner passage we arrived here at 11.30 pm. the hotel is very busy regularly accommodating large coach parties. (hotel has 300 plus beds) and was full Basically the room was adequate the shower excellent. The problem with this hotel is the dining room which is far too small, with very limited... More

Thank you for sharing your experience at Inn on the Harbour. I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations. While we do host coach tours from time to time and welcome them, most of our guests are independent travellers. We have 49 guest rooms and most definitely do not have 300 beds, in fact far from that number as... More

This hotel is wonderful in accommodating early or late check-ins. We arrived in Prince Rupert via the 5 am ferry and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check into our room early. Wonderful front desk staff, clean rooms, amazing breakfast. Reservations recommended if you are taking the Port Hardy ferry in the summer.

The Inn on the Harbor was conveniently located downtown, within walking distance of museums, stores, restaurants. Staff were friendly and courteous, complementary breakfast was very good and coffee and tea available anytime. Room was clean and adequate, nothing special. Parking was limited, could be more, especially for vehicle with trailer.

Thanks for your positive remarks about Inn on the Harbour. We are glad that you found the location convenient and enjoyed the breakfast and the service. Our parking lot in front of the hotel cannot accommodate vehicles with trailers, but we do have a second lot nearby that has much larger spots that guests have used for trailers/motorhomes or boats.... The room and staff were great coming in after midnight from the ferry. But going up to the room with my elderly mother to find the hight of the bed very tall.found it very difficult for her to get on to the bed and grateful that she didn't fallout. Should have asked the front desk for a step stool but... More

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your stay at Inn on the Harbour. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your room and the breakfast as well as the service. Most of our beds have the thicker mattresses and while they are very comfortable, that can make them a bit high for older guests or some with limited mobility.... More

We stayed one night here before leaving early on BC Ferries. I can honestly say the duvet on the bed was the nicest I have ever slept under, needless to say I had a wonderful sleep. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and they are finished beautifully. We were on the car park side of the hotel... More

Hotel location left a lot to be desired, opposite a sad looking liquor store and on a busy road. Our ground floor room faced the front car parking area, so it was a noisy location. The room was small but clean and adequate for an overnight stop, however the sink had a chip out of it. The reception area was... More

I sprained my ankle and banged up my jaw in a fall, just as I arrived in Prince Rupert, badly enough to send me to the E.R. When discharged in the mid of night I needed to find a place, as my B&B had two flights of stairs. Inn on the Harbor found me a room, and the sweet clerk... More

Stayed overnight. Room was okay but had only fan. My room was facing street and the parking lot was right outside. Some rooms have good harbour views though. Breakfast included was good but ergonomics of tight food area created traffic jams.
