Very good location. It is a simple cheap accomodation. We liked the kitchen where we could make breakfast. The manager and his son were helpful and friendly - they've renovated the place by themselves - hard work. more

I found the management to be rude and stuck up, the place overall was inexpensive and quite but the service was terrible, I have never felt so intimidated by a business owner, I would never stay there again. more

Very clean, manager friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private room - great for a hostel! Clean, more like a really nice budget hotel. The only downside is it is not very sound-proof. more

Never having stayed in a hostel before after readng the reviews which seemed good decided to take a chance and rent one of the two bedroom apartments. While the apartment was clean and seemed quite new the rst of the building we were in was disgusting with garbage littering the upstairs hallway. We did not feel safe as the lock... more

We stayed here one night while passing through to the ferry. We were pleasantly surprised about how nice this place is for the money- we had a family room that was very comfortable. We were able to walk to a grocery store and get dinner supplies, and the kitchen had all that we needed. more

served our purposes having a family room and a twin across the hall. unfortunately there was no one operating the cafe when we were there but food is not far away in town. the neighbourhood is a little dicey and another guest's car was broken into when we were there. shopping and restaurants in cow bay are great, and there... more

Great family room for our party of three- private bath, TV, comfy double and a bunk for my son. Shuttle pickup, small communal kitchen and living area with computer access and pngpong table made our one nite stay pleasurable. Storage lockers available. We paid a small fee for a later check-out. Walking to town is doable. Bus stop just a... more

This hostel is more like a hotel than a hostel. I was traveling to Alaska with my twin 11 year old boys and we ended up with a room to ourselves with TV (cable) and a phone. The price was great and we could walk everywhere. The owner is very nice and although the cafe was closed when we were... more
