We only stayed one night as we were on the ferry the next day but we had a pleasant stay. We had a double room with shared bathroom on top floor which was very clean and comfortable. Free van pickup from the ferry is available, just use the phone there which is free.

The rooms were very small, and the walls were paper thin. I didn't like the community bathrooms, who knows what the previous person left in the shower stall. Its not worth it for the price, get a clean hotel room and have some privacy and get a good night sleep.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us so much. All of our commune bathrooms are single use bathrooms (shower, toilet, sink - you can lock each bathroom so it is always only one person at a time in the bathroom) and we can ensure you that we tidy and clean them several... This hostel was warm clean and bright. Be sure to book in advance though as in the summer it seems to book up fast. The coed dorm is comfortable and provides some securable storage space to each guest.

I stayed here twice this summer and both stays were wonderful! The hostel is clean and the staff is friendly, welcoming and are quick to remember returning travellers. And of course, good places attract good people - those who were in the hostel as I was passing through were always lovely.

This place is amazing, great service, beautiful rooms, you feel at home. Don't go for anything else. They will pick you up from the ferry station if you need it. We stayed on the ground floor, the room was brand new and very very clean. I like that the interior is very colorful and cozy.

Only had a couple if days in Prince Rupert, but this place was really awesome! I've been backpacking US & Canada for a while now and have been to dozens of hostels, and this might've been the best experience, albeit a short one. Location was great for walking around and getting stuff for my travels, but the biggest thing for... More

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to yet again submit another review adding to your traveling companions comments on August 8, 2014. We understand that we cannot please everybody, despite our very best efforts. We thought we'd booked a double with twin beds and shared bath, but what we got was a bunk bed in a room so tiny that we could not pass by each other unless one of us (we both weigh around 115 lbs) stood in the tiny 2 foot space remaining at the end of the bed. For this we... More

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We understand, that some travelers are not particularly fond of bunk style beds that we offer for some (not all!) of our rooms. However, when you booked the twin room on our website it clearly shows that this room type has a bunk bed (there is... More

This was a great option for a quick overnight in Prince Rupert. We arrived on the train at 8pm and were heading out on the ferry at 5:30am, so we literally just needed a place to stay. Book in advance, because it definitely filled up when we were there in July. We got a discount because we are members of... More

This guest house is in an amazing location right in Cow Bay! The room was newly renovated and so cozy! The shared spaces of kitchen and living area are also clean and inviting... lots of information in sights and activities to do. Staff was great. Hope to be back!
