This guest house is in an amazing location right in Cow Bay! The room was newly renovated and so cozy! The shared spaces of kitchen and living area are also clean and inviting... lots of information in sights and activities to do. Staff was great. Hope to be back!

...but good also for couples because there are rooms with private bathrooms. Very good value for money. Frendly staff. There is a well equipped kitchen too. It's a nice place to stay, and it's close to the port.

Very warm welcome by knowledgeable staff help us at the start of the stay. We had a modern and clean room and the common room was over our expectations. We also enjoy a nice evening on the porch after few hours oh hicking with the degustation of a cherry cobbler just out of the oven. The inn location is in... More

I had a great time in Prince Rupert. Pioneer Backpackers Inn may be a bit noisy at times (early morning leavers) but that is to be expected in a heritage building and the rules are clear. I like the way the rooms are done and the staff is excellent. Its a nice place to hang out and close to restaurants... More

First time to stay at a hostel, fears relieved, Staff very helpful, answered any questions of how a hostel works, made my reservation for next few days activities. Bedding was fresh and clean. Location excellent, within walking distance of any need. If you like to read a just walk around the corner and through the tunnel and enjoy the sunken... More

Pioneer Backpacker Inn has nice modern rooms and extraordinary common rooms. It has a really good value for money. The hotel is quiet and perfectly suited when you use the inside passage ferry to port Hardy.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Pioneers Backpackers Inn. Among the various rooming options I chose the single room with shared bath, a room that was clean, comfortable, quiet with pleasant decorative touches. The inn’s location was very convenient, close to a market, waterfront and downtown, and next to the town’s attractive sunken garden. Kitchen facilities were available... More

Thanks a lot for this great feedback. We are happy that you had a great time here and enjoyed Prince Rupert and the sunflower sized dandelions. Maybe you come back here on day in May: You would be impressed by the size of the skunk cabbage! We wish you safe travels. Cheers, Juliane More

Although our stay was quick we were VERY impressed! One of the nicer hostels that we have stayed in. Charming character, friendly staff and spotlessly clean! We felt safe and comfortable. The room was lovely.... Two large windows, very comfortable bed, small desk and chair, small couch and a large flat screen TV plus free WiFi. The ensuite bathroom included... More

I stayed here for two weeks while I was working and was very pleased with my stay. Everything was kept very clean and I found all the staff and guests respectful and friendly. I stayed in one of the bunkbed rooms and although small there was enough space for my things and the bed was very comfortable.
