The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and informative. Our room was VERY spacious, comfortable and clean with windows looking into the garden in the backyard. Breakfast was simple but yummy and it was nice to have the hosts sit with us during our meal.

LOCATION Good for downtown and ferry terminal. 20 minute walk from downtown to accommodation, last few minutes a little steep. 20 mins walk downhill from b&b to ferry terminal. Downtown bus stops very close by. Nice quiet residential area with views of the surrounding peaks. ROOM Stayed in room 3. Large cosy room with comfy twin beds. Kettle in room,... More

Prince Rupert is Nowhereville, but I had to spend a day there between ferry and train; it was rainy too, so the choice of accommodation was especially important. Pineridge B&B is a very good choice. It's a 20 minute walk out of town, so a little far, but the room is very good - it's spacious with plenty of electric... More

We stayed there for one night after our trip from Port Hardy on the Inside Passage ferry. The room was really large, spotless and nicely decorated. The B&B is a little remote from the town centre but this didn't affect us as we had a car. Very good breakfast, you won't go hungry there. Cooked food plus nice bread and... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in this B&B.,which is located on a hill above downtown Prince Rupert. There are 2 front doors, the left one being the one of the B&B. We were greeted bij Irmgard, who showed us our very spacious and clean room and bathroom upstairs, and the common area downstairs. She made good recommendations... More

Located on a hill above the town (town center in walking distance), this is a nice B&B with spacious rooms and very clean. The hosts are a retired couple, friendly and helpful with good recommendations for restaurants (Cow Bay Cafe, Dolly's) and a walking trail. You need to make reservation in advance in order to find acommodation!

We stayed one night on our journey to Haida Gwaii. The accomodation was excellent & we found Hans & Irmgard very helpful making dinner reservations for us. On our way home we stayed two nights as Hans & Irmgard told us about a very interesting hike to take & they also recommended a tour of the heritage fish packing museum.... More

We were made very welcome, and Hans had good advice for us for our one day in Prince Rupert. The facilities included everything we might have wanted, and the room was large, comfortable and nicely decorated. Because we were leaving early for the train, a packed breakfast was left for us - and that was fine. We were actually quite... More

Because feeling welcome is very important to us we will never set foot here again. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and clean, no comments there but several things made us feel unwelcome. For instance: if you say that a living room is specifically for guests it doesn't feel very welcoming for guests to sit there if the host... More

Dear BAS G 12: Thank you for given the physical facilities a passing grade. We regret that you felt that our hospitality was below your expectation. To put the whole affair into context allow me to make some comments. When you and your partner arrived - shortly after midnight - we congratulated your partner on her birthday. Her reply was... My wife and I stayed at this B&B which is just out of town. The home is altogether very nice and comfortable. Irmgard is a very quiet and reserved person. Hans on the other hand is very opinionated and wants to hog the conversation. While breakfast was really nice and tasty it was spoiled a bit by what may be... More
