My group arrived around 5:15 pm the evening before we were to catch the ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy. To make the ferry you must be in the staging line at 5:30 am. That means you must get a good sleep the night before. As I entered my room, the curtains were wide open to reveal the sun... More

Arrival after inside passage. It was very late. Employees at the lobby were very friendly. But then the room... Dirty and smelling. Sheets were dirty. In the morning a lot of noise due to construction. Breakfast only until 9:00. We cannot find a lot of positive things. We will for sure never come back.

The hotel claims to have been refurbished but still has a dated feel. We arrived late (just after 11.00 pm) but check in was smooth and the staff friendly. the room was comfortable and well equipped. The view over a shopping mall with extensive rebuilding had little to commend it, but for a quick stopover was no problem. The complimentary... More

This hotel serves the purpose for travelers needing a night or two while waiting for the ferry or train. Our room is pretty much a standard, no frills room and is adequate. There is a good laundromat across the street and it is located with 6-8 blocks of the advertised attractions. The hotel itself could use a upgrade/remodel. Wait staff... More

We only fell into this hotel at 1 am so perhaps weren’t in the best mood to judge it. It seemed very basic and old fashioned, but the staff all seemed very nice. We had our worst nights sleep of the holiday. The room felt really cold and the bed seemed damp, but there was a heater to help out.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights passing through. The place looked a little sketchy when we arrived after dark, but was really OK when we got to know the area a little. There is a bar with loud music on one side of the hotel and the bar appears to share the same parking lot. I didn't see any bad... More

The hotel looked bad from the outside and we could not find where to leave our car while we checked in. After driving around the hotel, we found a shoddy, pot-holed, gravel parking area that had no signs saying it was for the Prince Rupert hotel. We only found out this because an employee leaving the hotel said it was... More

I can't speak for the rooms that non-pet owners get, but the room we got was run down, dirty, and not updated at all. I appreciate hotels allowing pets, and I understand the need to keep rooms separate for pets, but I don't think it's fair to not keep up the rooms and make them just as nice as the... More

Dear Rebecca, it is unfortunate that your experience did not match your expectations. Many hotels do allocate pet-friendly rooms to areas that they believe are better suited for pets. Unfortunately, not all pet owners are responsible and often there are situations that require significant time and costs involved to clean rooms allocated as pet-friendly. We hope that you will think... More

We had to stay over night in Prince Rupert so we could board VIA Rail early the following day. The town is a disappointment at best, and this hotel is one of two average places to stay. We did have a good sleep in a quiet room. But other than that, the hotel is nothing to write home about.
