I have stayed at the Highliner in the past and have been happy with the service. It is a grey building filled with incredible staff. I just want to share a tip - the bus for the airport leaves from here and if, as often happens, the plane cannot land and you are stuck for the day, the staff are... More

Stayed here for 4 nights for work. Very convenient location because the airport shuttle drops you off here and there's a rental car place in the hotel. Had a spacious corner room with a large balcony and great view of the water. My room had a fridge but my coworker's didn't. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big a la carte... More

The hotel is old and needs a lot of maintenance upgrades. The I've machine outside my room dropped ice all day and night waking me up. The shower would fluctuate between dangerously hot to frigid cold. Babies cried in the hallway and people yelled in the streets and adjoining rooms. The people are very friendly and seem to make the... More

The hotel room was large, but run down. It is badly in need of renovations. The bed was also not as comfortable as it could have been, as it sagged in the middle. But, we got a good enough sleep, and the room was clean.

We arrived late due to the Alaska ferry. No problem with check in. Desk staff quite friendly and helpful. Rooms were decent size, however there was no A/C. We ended up sleeping with the slider open and got to listen to all the drunk folks out on the streets of Prince Rupert at 2 am.The bathroom had no ventilation and... More

We have stayed at the Highliner Plaza in Prince Rupert many times while traveling through. It's clear that we have short memories, because each time we stay here we vow that next time we'll find somewhere better. The rooms are spartan, the beds are uncomfortable, and the hallways and elevators smell strangely. I will say that the view is outstanding.... More

Spent 3 nights at the hotel and have stayed at the Highliner for over 11 years and it is sad to see it deteriorate to such a level. The staff was great in getting us in but the rooms are very old and neglected. The telephone did not work and getting into bed the first night the leg collapsed. After... More

The staff that I dealt with were very helpful. The only problem with this property is that the rooms are in dire need of a total make over. The room I occupied had a balcony with a great view of the harbour and coastal areas but getting the sliding balcony door open was a challenge as the runners seemed to... More

Stayed here with my husband two daughters and my sister when visiting Prince Rupert for the bear trip. My sister lives in BC and stays hear when Husband is on business. Great view of the ocean. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. They were quite hot at night so we slept with the doors open. Free wifi. Ice machine on... More

We stayed here while going out on a charter fishing trip. The rooms are old, but clean and quiet. Friendly staff at the front desk. Great view of the harbour! The location to downtown is excellent. The price for the room was very reasonable compared to the other Hotel in Prince Rupert.
