Good price, old hotel, old furniture, rooms could be cleaner, pleasant staff. I had no problem staying there. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, this is not it. It was plain, safe and could use a lot of updating.

The Moby is out dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't spend much time in the room due to sight seeing. If u need a room for a good price this is it. Directly downtown and close to all amenities.

The Moby Dick is an old hotel but is in the process of being updated. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It's in a good location and it is a short walk to most places in Rupert. Of course Rupert isn't that big so most things are within walking distance. My room was clean... More

Would never stay in this place. I got in late from a delayed flight. The staff was friendly and the hotel seems to be in not bad shape. On receiving my key I proceeded to the elevator. When the door opened in the middle of the elevator was a man sprawled out on the floor smelling of booze and barf.... More

We enjoyed our stay, it all started with the front desk, Angela was very helpful, courteous, and also has a wealth of knowledge on making our stay better. The room was comfortable, quiet, which gave us all a very good nights sleep.

Just like to comment, I have stayed here several times. The front desk clerk Angela is always very helpful with information about the city and making my stay a lot more successful. One of the better value hotels in Prince Rupert.

I have been going to Prince Rupert for over ten years to fish and have always stayed at the Moby Dick. Can't imagine going anywhere else. The facilities are ok and the rooms are clean and have a microwave and fridge. The freezer room and bbq and crab pot all come in handy. We always get a great rate with... More

We booked this hotel for two nights to see the sights of Prince Rupert while waiting for our ferry. We chose the hotel based on price and the reviews on tripadvisor. We knew that it was an older hotel offering basic accommodation but we were disappointed that it was less than clean and had some damaged furniture in the room.... More

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The coffee maker didn't work. The Wifi didn't work. A microwave was in the room but no utensils or plates to use. The bed would break my back if I had to stay longer. Stay away.

I stayed at the hotel three night for my trip and the hotel has got exactly what I needed. The room was bigger than I expected and the bed was very comfortable. Nice hotel staff and great location!! I definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and co workers.
