My boyfriend and I had to drive a long distance due to an unexpected call from work, and every hotel we went to was full. Angela (the receptionist at the Inn) was very kind to us and understanding of our frustrations. She helped us get a good room at the Inn with a nice view, and was very accommodating. She... More

Staying for two nights while awaiting the ferry to Port Hardy. There's nothing fancy about this hotel. TV, fridge and keurig coffee maker in the room. It's a place to stay and sleep. The only drawback is the lack of a/c. Rooms on the north side of the property get some very hot afternoon sun beating down with the blinds... More

Moby Dick needs a bit of upgrading, but that didn't detract from our stay. The room was large and comfortable and had every amenity we needed. It's located centrally so eating out did not need a long trek, in fact we walked to a very close=by restaurant in less than 5 minutes. The guy on the desk was very helpful... More

Well this was my 8th year returning to the Moby Dick Inn for a 5 night stay. I was very impressed with the state of the Inn this year. The crab cooking area has returned, which was a pleasant surprise. ( C'mon people... if you use the area, clean up after yourself) It is nice to get back to your... More

Good price, old hotel, old furniture, rooms could be cleaner, pleasant staff. I had no problem staying there. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, this is not it. It was plain, safe and could use a lot of updating.

The Moby is out dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't spend much time in the room due to sight seeing. If u need a room for a good price this is it. Directly downtown and close to all amenities.

The Moby Dick is an old hotel but is in the process of being updated. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It's in a good location and it is a short walk to most places in Rupert. Of course Rupert isn't that big so most things are within walking distance. My room was clean... More

Would never stay in this place. I got in late from a delayed flight. The staff was friendly and the hotel seems to be in not bad shape. On receiving my key I proceeded to the elevator. When the door opened in the middle of the elevator was a man sprawled out on the floor smelling of booze and barf.... More

We enjoyed our stay, it all started with the front desk, Angela was very helpful, courteous, and also has a wealth of knowledge on making our stay better. The room was comfortable, quiet, which gave us all a very good nights sleep.

Just like to comment, I have stayed here several times. The front desk clerk Angela is always very helpful with information about the city and making my stay a lot more successful. One of the better value hotels in Prince Rupert.
