You get what you pay for. Reasonably clean. Some of the lights did not work. Could not adjust the heat and the room was very hot. Extra large flat screen T V. Payed extra for an upgraded room but did not anything special. Has an restaurant which had an excellent at a value price. Would bypass this inn next tie... More

Although the restaurant was closed during this years' stay, I have eaten breakfast there before and the food was quite reasonable; the motel staff were everywhere you needed to find them and very freindly and helpful. Very well placed for ferry traffic and I have checked in the motel at midnight coming off the ferry and checked out for the... More

Modest hotel but very cozy,(we were on honeymoon ) perfectly styled with the city. When the front desk staff is so welcoming, many little things become secondary. We spent only one night and half, but would stay again. The best for those who love to fish

I'm currently riding a bicycle around North America and spent a great night at the Moby Dick Inn. The staff were absolutely great and made me feel at home, the shower was incredibly powerful and the beds were as comfy as they come. All this and it was a really well kept room, with super fast broadband and a large... More

Have visited here often, primarily for breakfast with my family, in recent months. The service is fine. The food is nothing special and over-priced, but it is consistent. The restaurant could use some updating. It is dark and gloomy. Otherwise, the food is average. There are better restaurants in Prince Rupert.

Been here a few times over the years, and there are marked improvements over the last year. The rooms have been upgraded, bed are much more solid vs. the older rolling beds they had, and the restaurant has really cleaned up (they used to have broken boards, and the tables were ancient, but they cleaned up the walls, and all... This is a fairly unexceptional hotel in Prince Rupert, easy access by car to the ferry terminal and a 20 minute walk in to town. The rooms are large and well equipped if a little dated, make sure you get a top floor room with a view of the harbour. The reception staff are helpful and the on site restaurant... More

We stayed here on arrival from the ferry from Port Hardy for two nights. the hotel is very convenient to locate. However the receptionist was not very friendly. The rooms wree rather old fashioned and not cleaned very well - my daughter was on the third floor in a very gloomy room, we were on the fourth floor at the... More

Been here a few times, and its probably the best bang for buck in prince rupert. You can pay the extra cost to staying at the casino, but considering how close everything is in this city, this place was a nice middle ground. Everything seems a bit old/dated, but it was clean, beds were fresh, and people were really helpful.... More

I stayed here for two nights in late July at the end of a week-long trip up Vancouver Island, capped by the incredibly gorgeous ferry ride from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. To cut to the chase: My room was big, clean, and everything worked. Check-in was smooth (even after midnight, since the ferry's arrival time that particular night was... More
