Everything was as expected, I would stay again at this hotel, front staff was friendly and the hotel was in a convenient location for shopping .Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Attached to the hotel is a place to eat which makes it handy.

I have been in PG for two extended stretches on business. The first time I stayed at the Ramada downtown. My experience there was so awful that I went looking elsewhere. I ended up at the Sandman on Central. I have stayed in four rooms now. The first two were small, but quiet and cozy. The third was nice, but... More

Expensive ($150 for basic room) dirty, burn holes in the blanket, stained sheets, no parking, sketchy area, ect. There are 2 Sandman's in PG so make sure you stay at the southern one as it's the newly built one and very nice. Attached restaurant has good food and nice staff, $.35 wings on Mondays, nice big mall close by and... More

The hotel was situated adjacent to a busy 2 or 3 carriageway road, not a very attractive location. The hotel iteself looked up to date and our room/suite was clean, good decorative order and had a well equiped kitchenette. We drove to nearby Pine Shopping Mall for a look round and also to a supermarket (Save on Food) a bit... More

We chose this hotel as it was convenient to our travels. It is located on the highway through town; yet we found our room very quite. There is a pool on site and a Denny's attached to the hotel. We chose a suite, only to have a queen bed. It was clean and had what we needed. We did find... More

The location is not especially attractive and our room looked out on to a wall of the neighbouring wing. The hotel has a small indoor pool. We arrived early and were upgraded to a suite. The hotel has a Denny's attached, but having a suite we chose to go to the supermarket, but some odds and ends and cook for... More

Arrived late after a day on the train from Jasper. My room was tiny and rather worn, but had what you need. The location of the hotel is not conducive to a pleasant pre-dinner stroll, as it is amongst other Hotels and Motels and opposite a trading estate. Food is provided by the adjoining Denny's Diner. Ok I suppose, but... More

Room okay with a fair amount of space. Bathroom painfully small. No breakfast provided, have to buy at Denny's next door. No elevator, and (in the summer) hallways hot, sweaty. Very dated, looks old and worn out. Some staff surly (housekeeping, others), no eye contact or greeting, even when offered in advance. Do not recommend this property, and if this... More

My best advice is to keep looking. This might be the smallest room I have ever stayed. The only thing smaller than the room was the bathroom. Frankly the toilet seemed 6 inches off the ground. I have no idea how anyone with the slightest of mobility problems would even be able to use this toilet. Room had been renovated... More
