I am in my room right now. I have the medical rate of only $79per night so I was expecting something rather inferior. Upon entering the hotel It felt..and elled rather dated. However, when I entered my room I was amazed! Everything looks very new, the furniture is a very nice basic pine along with the full length mirror. There... More

We had concerns after reading some of the reviews, but as we were only staying for one night we went ahead with reserving a room. Although the area around this hotel looked like it had seen better days, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom may have undergone a recent renovation, the fixtures and fittings were comparable... When I checked in, it was in the afternoon. I could literally smell the alcohol coming from the man receptionist's mouth. The next day, there were female receptionsts, and they were friendly. Well, the hotel's price is cheaper than others. It is just a normal standard hotel. If you just need a quick night stay, and the price is right,... More

I reserved 4 rooms at this hotel for family members attending the funeral of my sister in law who lived in Prince George with my brother for many years. This hotel was not my first choice but there was a conference in town that week and hotel rooms were scarce. All of my family members were pleased with this hotel.... More

I was delighted with the accomodations; I had low expectations because of the inexpensive rates. The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Two Queen beds with 4 pillows on each. There was a coffee maker and plenty of lamps, a large window looking out onto the front street and, when I opened the curtains, let in ample daylight. Bathroom... More

We stayed in Prince George as an overnight stay between the train journeys from Jasper to Prince Rupert. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. The way to the hotel is a bit scary to walk in the dark, walking up to the hotel it looks a bit like a petrol station. Inside the room... More

Stayed here with my father when passing through. Friendly service on check-in. Rooms are dated and have a musty smell. Older beds, curtains, carpet, TV's, etc. Asked the front desk where we could get a drink and he pointed us toward a pool hall right down the street. On the way down, saw some hoodlums acting the fool in a... More

Don't let the outside appearance fool you - the inside of this hotel has been renovated to perfection! Modern, new and comfortable bedding, thick towels and tasteful decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were expecting a small continental breakfast so were pleasantly surprised at the selection offered in the cozy, clean breakfast room. We're passing through Prince George again... More

The Travelodge Hotel in Prince George was a very good sleep. Staff are very friendly, and even when we arrived late that evening, they still had a room for us, which I really appreciated. The two drawbacks is that you had to arrive really early for breakfast, or most of the seats would be taken, and the parking lot is... More
