The first thing Joyce said was "let me show you all the intricacies of this cabin" and she spent the next few minutes showing us the neat cabin that used to be a blacksmith shop, a barn and an ostrich raising facility. the next amazing thing was when Joyce said our dog could run free in their vineyard, as it... My girlfriend and I had such a fantastic experience at the Riddle Road Retreat. Both Joyce and Doug were extremely welcoming, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the local attractions and history. Every delicious breakfast was accompanied by a fantastic conversation that was so engaging that we never wanted to leave the breakfast table! The B&B's location was well situated in... More

This was my boyfriend and I's first experience with a B &B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Joyce and Doug were great hosts and have a stunning view of the lake and Penticton. They are a bit of a drive (less than 10 minutes) from the downtown. The food was lovely, the rooms were clean as well as the other... More

We had a very pleasant stay at this idyllic chalet. The owners Joyce and Dough are kind and are glad to share their knowledge about the area. Do ask Joyce eggs for breakfast, you will not regret it. Rachid&Karin

During our tour in BC we stayed for two nights at this lovely B&B. Joyce and Doug offer good service, a good bed and a nice breakfast. During breakfast, with a stunning lakeview, there is time for interesting details on the neighbourhood! I would recommand the 12 grain bagel for breakfast.

Dear Joyce&Doug Thank you so much for the great and warm welcome in your little B&B. We had a lot of fun, great talks and a very tasty breakfast! Thanks a lot for everything. We would do it again anytime! Katharina&Markus from Germany

We stayed for two nights at this lovely, quiet B&B set high on a hill in the Naramata Bench wine region, which is just outside of Penticton. Doug & Joyce were wonderful and generous hosts! Their home is beautiful and the views were to die for. We stayed in the avocado room, which was comfortable and well-furnished. We also had... More

I have just spent two nights here with my husband on a short trip to explore the area and wineries and cannot recommend it highly enough! When we arrived Joyce and Doug greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us around the property. The bedroom was very clean, a good size with dressing gowns provided. There was a shared... More

I believe my co-guest wrote the below review, but here is mine, written before I knew: Staying with Joyce and Doug was fantastic! We booked with them very last minute due to a mix-up with our previous reservation elsewhere, and it was the best thing that could have happened. The place was very cute and well put together. Also, before... More

Our hosts were phenomenal! They took us in basically last minute and were extremely welcoming. They toured us around the house, gave us a solid history of the area, and even offered to take us mountain biking! The stay included homemade, delicious breakfasts on the patio with a lake view and hummingbirds, was within walking distance of multiple wineries, the... More
