Above the Beach has a fantastic view of Penticton. Barb and Garry couldn't be nicer, and the food was excellent. Gorgeous house in a great location - far enough away from the noise and crazy of the beach and city, but close enough to enjoy it easily. more

Awesome views of the lake, the beach, the city and the Okanagan Valley. Our Hosts, Barb and Garry have lots of laughs and welcome you to their home like you are family. I have stayed a couple of times and have not been dissapointed and I will be going back, no more hotels for me. more

We stayed 3 nights at Above the Beach while on our driving tour of BC. We were well recieved by Barb and Gary who where perfect hosts (sometimes too friendly if that's possible). The room we stayed in the the North Carriage room and it was just what we expected. Nice bed and linens, plenty of room for the short time we spent in there! First of all, in response to DrTeva's review that has the picture attached, that review is misleading. We stayed in the exact same room and the view was fantastic. Off to the left side there is a house like the picture shows, but that in no way blocks your view of the beach or the view of all of Penticton.... more

This was our second stay at the B & B, we liked it so much the first time we've made this an annual destination. I recommend staying in one of the carriage rooms. This room has a great view , you can see the beach and some of the lake while sitting up in bed drinking your coffee. A gourmet... more
