Visiting the area last week after reading great reviews. Airport is great as well as taxi service to and from the downtown area. Overall not impressed with the casino hotel and services. Upon my arrival I had lunch on the patio with mediocre service at best, and meals were incorrect when they came. Maybe the girls working the patio should... More

The rooms were average but the location is great. The rooms have starbucks coffee and real creamers, wifi is easy to access, and the lakeside room views are amazing. There is a lot to do with the casino connected to the hotel, as well as two restaurants and a bar on the main level; and of course the beach and... More

Very nice location. Pay the extra for the lake view. It's well worth it. Our room could have used some updating but it was clean and well equipped. Good restaurants and private beach area is nice. You can also dock your own boat right out front which is awesome. Or you can rent boats and seadoos. Within easy walking distance... More

I try to visit the Okanagan every summer and each time I do, I stay at the Lakeside. Its proximity to the Naramata wineries, as well as restaurants along Lakeshore Drive, keep me coming back. This time around, I booked four nights in an upgraded lakeview room (everything else was sold out) and I’m so glad I got to experience... More

We stayed in a Business class room on the 5th floor with a Beachview. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, had a decent view of the lake, parking was included, and our turndown snack was an apple & chocolate chunk cookie, got the morning paper, and the best part of all we had breakfast included. Had no issues... More

Great rooms, amazing staff and excellent restaurants! The room I stayed at had a full kitchen, a very spacious room (and living room). The bathroom was very clean and spacious as well. Its very well located, near all the shops and restaurants (well, there aren't many but...) and at the beach. I looked around other hotels and I deeply believe... More

Agree with others. Excessive noise until 1am. Room ok, clean and tidy but small and noisy air con unit (which ironically drowned out the bar noise). Didn't try the breakfast - an over 30minute wait was unacceptable. The challenge is they charge downtown Vancouver rates with nowhere near the quality and service. There are much better hotels in Penticton.

It was walking distance to downtown, other venues and restaurants and with a great view of the lake. The room was spic and span and spacious. There was also a programme that every day that you didn't require maid service, you received a $10 voucher for the restaurant. We found all staff to be helpful and knowledgable.

One of the more expensive hotels in Penticton and neither our air conditioning or fridge worked for 2 days. Paid extra to have a lake view but didn't realize that with the view comes noise from 8am to midnight as the rooms on this side of the hotel are situated directly over the bars and restaurants. So much for relaxation... More

Close enough to downtown to walk, great location right on the lakeshore (!). Room was spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the lake. Needs some refreshing but beds were comfortable and staff were attentive. Even though there is a casino it was pretty quiet during our stay. You do pay for parking - choose the parkade to keep your... More
